The recipe shown here comes to ~10.4% ABV. I'm curious what the projected shelf life would be outside the fridge (after filling aging 2 weeks in the fridge). I did a similar filling but with Rum and Kirschwasser + some grain alcohol. My final content was 15% ABV. I've seen several resources say that as long as it's >14% ABV a liqeur should be shelf stable. That doesn't sound like much booze, but against this sweet backdrop it really feels strongly alcoholic (I loved that!). Mine were eaten at one sitting though (Thanksgiving). Making more for X-mas!

I made the filling on the 4th with bourbon and 95 proof alcohol. I haven’t filled them yet because I’m waiting the 14 days. But, what a kick it has. I only made half the recipe because I was running out of egg yolks

We went to the village in august 2024 to specifically go to the bakery. All we could find was a little corner in the village centre which is occupied on a Friday by this bakery on a pop up basis. We went on a Thursday unaware of this. Does the shop still exist?
