Honestly it feels like everyone has something against Mitsubishi but I love the brand so do my parents, my dads got a 2012 lancer base model and it’s done like 85kms and is running perfectly. My mum on the other hand has a pajaro sport with the comfort package so idk what one that is. But it runs just as well

Okay, you can yell at me later. But I swear every microgaurd oil filter I’ve removed I had to crush to get out. Never had that issue with motocraft filters. Not saying they perform better in any way shape or form. I’ve just never had that issue on my 2013 mustang.

A good tip is to fill the oil filter with some oil before putting it in, so that the engine doesnt run dry, even for a few seconds.

What bro No the motor won’t dry up it’s a filter and filter for oil to get gunk out it runs from the motor to oil filter not the other way around so helpful tip you don’t need to prep your oil filters it’s going to run though it anyway

@jimmyneville92 yeah I understand that, it's just more so to prep the oil filter, just like how he pre-lubed the pil filter seal. 🤷‍♂️ in my experience of reading manuals, it's fine to do it either way, you just gotta add extra oil if you don't pre-fill the oil filter.

You don't want it hand tight, you want it touching then a half turn past. It'll lock itself into place under oil pressure.

This was a great learning video but you forgot the step where you have to spend 10-20$ on a new Ford plastic drain plug. I do love your videos, I just hate how Ford makes you get a new drain plug every time, I worked at a jiffy lube for a bit and we were always running out of the plugs.
