If you want to learn how to work on your car the best way Is to do your own maintenance. if you do want to do a big project like this do a lot of research into your project and reference lots of similar projects by other people. One of the most important things though is safety, please get educated on how to work on an your car safely, if you dont you could seriously injure yourself or even die. I'm not trying to fear monger but please understand that if you dont do these things safely there is real danger.

That shop owner should have a realized a diy job that takes 6-8 hrs is gonna take 2-3 days. 😂 This is from a diy mechanic myself 😅 (First time I replaced brake pads it took me 6 hrs over 2 days😂)
