Regarding my question and your answer, you've backed up what I thought in regards to the amps, and I'm sure the OS3 Lite is capable of 22 volts for short periods so that shouldn't be an issue (it's only a drag strip after all). My hunch is it's pots going bad but I don't know what ohms they are. Any ideas? Edit: And great to hear you've got more in the pipeline. I'll keep my eye out here and on FB

Fantastic idea... and thanks for doing this style of more educational video rather than the normal News Review style. It's not that I don't like the news ones it's just there's already enough of that style and not enough innovation and education like yours. Quick question, I have an adjustable transformer (up to 30v 10amp) running both lanes of my drag strip that I don't run over 22v and 6amp for Auto World Funny Cars only, the rest I use 6amp still but lower voltage, but I kept having issues with my OS3 Lites so I've switched to the Truspeeds like you have, will I have any issues? I do run them with brakes (because I have to for some cars).

@@nunyabusiness6090 thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I can assure you, there's way more coming, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Tooling like this opens up possiblities. I've got more gadgets I'm adding to the list also. It should be pretty interesting where I can take it from here. I'm certainly looking forward to it. Back to the question: You can turn the amps knob up to full, as the cars only draw the amps you need. As for volts, I run a 0 - 30 volt 20 amp power supply, with the amps turned up full. I don't have any issues with any controllers I've ever used on there at all. Not even stock AFX controllers. Did this answer the question, or did I miss something?

@@yunghanhuang8188 how do you mean? What sort of an adaptor are you after? I would advise (if you want to use AFX plugs) just cut the plug off the AFX controller, and hook the wires up. However, if this is what you want to do, you will never be able to use the braking function. The AFX plugs will only ever allow you to use 2 wires.

Hey MVR been a while, been taking care of elderly parents for the last year constantly, so not much time still to do much. But I have bought a few cars, the dreaded Super III and 4 gear, I said I was not going to buy again....Thanks to your interest in them I gave them another shot. I found that the 2022/2023 4 gears (large funny cars for drag racing) are much better, and the S III 2023 are MUCH better than the older ones, and the bodies are smaller which I like much better, but the liveries are so, so on the stock cars. The newer S III bodies work around the track much better than the older larger bodies, they are top heavy and de-slot way too easily. I have a bit of a cheat though. I have a set of Rooster Racings IROC Super 7 chassis, and I modified S III clips to fit the S III to the S 7 chassis, and it works great at slower speeds. The older S III Nascar bodies liveries are the best I have seen out of the other choices, and they are pretty nice going around the track at slower speeds as well. Anyway, interesting to see you back at the track building. I'm not familiar with that paint, but I would use a good alkyd primer because as you know that "paper board" is going to raise the "grain" something fierce if water based is used. Ask me how I know.....:) I hope it is going well, the track looks great.
@murdervalleyraceway3 ай бұрын
@@JDL_2020 thanks for the feedback on the Auto World chassis's. I need to buy more 4 Gears I think? As for the paint, White Knight is an Australian paint company. Basically it's fast dry alkyd paving paint, and even though it's considered a gloss paint, the fast dry additive cuts the gloss to about 80-90% so better for grip, and hard wearing. I actually didn't use a primer at all this time, I thinned the paint down with a bit of turpentine so it could penetrate into the surface better. I got more work done on the track last night (second coat is now on). I filled with caulking compound this morning, and I'll third coat tonight. I'll do a new video end of week with my progress, I've been taking plenty of pics along the way.
@JDL_20203 ай бұрын
@@murdervalleyraceway Many of the paints are primers now anyway. I look forward to the update, it looks like it's going to be great. As always with Auto World, buyer beware. But my last 2 2022 series 4 gear are both faster than my other older 4 gears. I received the Ron Capps Iwheels white NAPA as a gift and it's so so out of the box, but looks great. And the newer Super III really surprised me in size and running/ build quality compared to my last experience and others reporting as well. I have a picture of the bodies on the Super 7 I will try to post. The last time I posted a link I was put in timeout for 24 hours with no explanation. But I think you are not a magnet fan and the S 7 is high magnet down force but handle like a dream and FAST, too fast actually.

Right , so here I go. I want to purchase some of your tires . I have been a racer for years. We race super 2s which have foam tires ( came with the foam tires OEM ), that is just one of our classes . I'd like to try a tjet & a tuff one style ( foam ) also . that is 3 of our classes but , we use silicone over sponge tires in other classes. It can't be that crazy ( $ ) to send 6 , 8 sponge tires in a padded envelope. I was the same guy that ( you showed the double cutter) (made the video for ) ( well me & others ), but I still want your tires to try in certain classes ( cause you can not use the sil-sponge tires in that class ) , weight ? vs. grip ? ? ? You see I have others making 3d printed wheels ( light ) , ? with light foam tires ? Maybe bets grip , ? The last race I ran 330s & 16 ohm vs several 350 sil-sponge & 5.5 ohm os3 (what?) ?? The head guy asked bout the clearance . I said I could drop more . Just always trying something. And I wanted your email cause : I WANT to PURCHASE TIRES from YOU Mr murder Valley. 6 - 8 pairs maybe more . I know you said already , you wanted to sell, you did not want to sell. Want to try to race your tires in at least 3 different classes in our " that class" (racing since '80s) (some of us)(fisherowski's) (zerns)(Penn Valley) , we been racing a long time... So...thanks...
