I’m more used to Madden, and MLB. The faster paced games like 2k and NHL are harder for me, and this helped a lot. Thanks!

Most frustrating game I’ve ever played. Last game 4 break always, 0 goals. Opponent wins by winging it off the goalie and my ai defender puts in his own rebound. EA sucks now.

Seriously, what is wrong with everybody? That makes these videos why can’t we just get a tutorial on what to do to actually shoot a puck all this stuff is so advanced and they use words like top shelf and stuff like just tell us how we shot and what depress and also how to perform every kind of shot and what depress it’s not that hard everybody that does hockey tutorials is so stupid

Great question, this year everything is the same except for card art. I wish they all had the MSP card art, but that's the only difference.

So these players go away and we get a new list of players next week as well as more collectables to make it easier to make a set? Are the second week of players always worse cause they will be easier to make with free collectables? As a new player this is all so confusing.

Can’t say the second week of players is “worse” because it is all based on their real life performance :) But yes EA likes to instill a sense of sake “urgency” to push people to buy packs. So, for the fantasy event it’s two weeks long and the first week cards are only makeable for week 1. Unless you absolutely love someone this week, make collectible and wait on the week two options :)

Great question! This Friday at 5pm EST we'll get a new set of players that you can pull in packs or complete in sets. The second week players aren't "worse" but should be easier to complete with more moments, wildcard, and objectives on the way. I would wait until the last minute to use your collectibles incase on of these players pops off throughout the week. Make sure to complete the set before it expires though! Hope that helps!

@@scotty5658 I meant "worse" in the sense of giving us players that by analytics have a worse chance of reaching 99. If they give us 14 free collectables again i think ill just gamble twice on the 16 collectable turn in for random player that way i can get two. Being a fan of hockey more so then just a favorite team or player(s) i think I'll ger more enjoyment having two players to cheer on and follow during the season.

It’s the same thing in Fortnite, they reel the whales in using a few free things and next thing you know they have bought the head of Epic (or EA) a new Yacht lol. It’s a sad state our beloved NHL game is in. Not only is the game a copy & paste with a roster update every year for full price but then they have the nerve to turn a game mode into a Las Vegas Casino simulator wanting to suck more money out of you.

Has there been a path to stop the corner goal? Seriously, I'm using EP to shoot against DeSmith, currently I'm 2-20. The green light comes on top right corner, but DeSmith has stopped it almost every time in Semi-Pro. Also don't get too comfortable with your favorite way of scoring in Rookie, I use Crash the Net. In Rookie I was scoring 7-10 goals per game, mostly on rebounds and far side shots, in Semi-Pro, my goalie is the only one who gives up rebounds and the far side shots now almost all go wide or get saved. When the opposition goalie gives up a rebound, either my guy cant handle it, or the defender gets it first. I'm lucky when I score 3 in a game with 35-40 shots, and the computer will score 4 on 9 shots. Sick of this stupid game.
