We just did this. The path is pretty well overgrown which, in parts, makes locating the top of the 45 degree river bank edge difficult. We found out when our left legs landed on unsupported grass! The last mile or so of the walk (after the video ends) as it approaches Littlehampton is impassible with brambles and other overgrowth so requires battling through on an unappealing wasteland. A Littlehampton local we met along the way said not many people walk it these days. Terrible shame it has not been properly maintained.

Hello, we are Whiti Booster from Korea. We are an edible sunscreen brand that launched this year. Our product contains patented ingredients that block ultraviolet rays, which are insufficient in sunscreens, and helps prevent skin cancer and pigmentation problems caused by ultraviolet rays. Every season, we select outdoor sports and hobbies as a concept and hold events that feature videos on our site. If you don't mind, I would like to load your video on our site. Is that possible? If you respond, we would like to sponsor our products. have to say from videos i've seen on cervinia and zermatt, it looks like a load of road skiing. down pre-determined tracks, roads with no ability to detour off them b/c of the undulating surrounds. no side of mountain skiing where i can ski where i cant. but dictated roads. i hate that sort of skiing. everyone on the same track, crowded, all going in the same direction, together b/c there is no other choice. and in parts its often narrow and you just do your best to navigate thru the crowds all competing on the same track of space. yuk. i might visit for a day to really see it, but what i've seen including your video confirms its all track/road type pistes. i prefer full mountain face so i can choose where i want to go, not be dictated to by roads and narrow corridors with no path off them. thanx fore the video. was pleasant watching, if not inspiring

Very nice video thank you for sharing:) I was planning a trip to alp dhuez but after seeing this video I think Cervinia is the place to visit! What tips and pointers do you have for someone going to Cervinia for the first time?

I’d probably say to take a GoPro along to film your skiing, and some mini walkie-talkies for maintaining contact with your companions on the slopes.

Nice video! Brings back memories and you captured it well. Was there in the 70's on a high school ski trip. It was wild and windy at the very top, but once you got down a ways, it seemed like you were flying on these gentle slopes. The town below was covered by a cloud layer and you felt like you were 'flying' above the clouds. There was a little bridge that you needed to crouch down and hit just right, otherwise you would crash. I crashed once when someone cut in front of me right before the bridge.

Hello from Canada Sensational, this is one of the best Alpine videos I have ever seen. You have set the camera perfectly so we can appreciate the slope you’re on but allow us to see the exceptional scenery around and ahead of you…absolutely awesome from the start to completion. Really enjoyed the sound tracks you used. Thank you for posting this video of your skiing adventure.

Thank you for this. It has brought back a lot memories of when we used to spend summers in the 1970's with my nan, who lived near East Beach, and the walks we used take along the beach and through the fields to Church Norton. Lovely to see it hasn't changed too much!

Huw, Aren't there other races over the weekend that allow cycle clothing to be worn? Personally I love the whole eccentricity of the BWC and it wouldn't be so wonderfully British if the dress code was more relaxed. Les
@Huwtube729 жыл бұрын
If it wasn't a race, I would agree with you. Riding at a leisurely pace in the specified dress code would be tolerable; but the fact that most people are there to race, giving it 100% over the 10 miles in that summer heat with jacket and tie on made it pretty uncomfortable by the end; not to mention the dispiriting aerodynamic drag caused by having to wear a jacket!
