When we first moved to Texas almost 20 years ago I was shocked that houses were on regular size lots and not on an acre minimum. For the area and being in one of the best communities in North Texas, 86-100 foot lots is pretty big for the area. They do have a section in Mustang Lakes on an acre as well if interested. Wood is more affordable and abundant here compared to materials like concrete and brick. It’s also easier and faster to build with, which keeps construction costs down. Modern building codes ensure they are structurally sound and able to withstand a lot, even natural disasters. However, in areas prone to earthquakes, hurricanes, or tornadoes, special reinforcements are added to make homes safer. Thanks for watching.

Yep!, We are seeing more and more 40 foot lot products going in and the developers are putting more into the community amenities. 70 foot lots are now considered oversized. Thanks for watching.
