Happy I didn't pay for it and got to play it via PlayStation Plus. I had a colony of 15 with all carbon and sniper2.0 by the second winter. It might be better if they worked on the monster ai. The current AI makes it to easy to death valley them.

I know this a 2 year old video. But there are a few things to mention. When you get to using steel tools, I keep my iron pick axe after making the steel one...because the steel pick can harvest the higher tier ore. So I use the iron pick on all the lower level stuff to not wear out my steel pick as fast when I finally get to the higher tier ores. Or you could just bring a basic anvil workstation with one steel bars to repair while you're out. Then with fighting bears, as long as you get to a river with deep enough water to make you swim...you're faster then bears in water, so can swim backwards and just stab it in the face for easy crits that kill it very fast.

i've gotten 112% on hollow knight and enjoyed most of the DLC. that said, this game is extremely frustrating. it's hard to compare it to another game, but i'd say its closest comparison is a 2D version of a Dark Souls game but thats a bit of a stretch. certain areas/bosses could put you on suicide watch. furthermore, i was very underwhelmed with the story on my first playthrough. the lore is pretty interesting, but its a 4/10 story at best if you dont want to spend hours in the wiki reading lore. the game also straight up doesn't tell you what you're supposed to do except for the MAIN MAIN objectives to any% the game. without several youtube tutorials, have fun trying to figure out how to get all the stuff required for 100%. that said, if you enjoy a game with a fun open world map, bosses and enemies that are incredibly edifying to beat, simple but fun combat with a pretty high skill ceiling, and a pretty cool story if you know the lore it is an extremely fun game. if you're looking for your next RPG to play to relax after work because you just finished the latest Zelda game, it's probably not for you.

Me, a total noob who has literally spent maybe 20 minutes in game and has absolutely no clue how to do well in this title. Any advice at this point is welcome as the last time I was in game I was eaten by a wolf and some kind of stag working as a team to take me out of the world.

You should come check out the game again. They took what the community was saying and completely reworked most of the game. Across the board everybody has been loving the changes. Please consider to come back and review again

what is the best rifle ammo??? Iam so confusedi made ARMOR PRWRCIMG ammo but they suck ..i was hoping that they will do constant same damage ( but more than a normal rifle ammo ) to Bears and other animals, so i don't have to aim for weak spots, i assumed they will do same damage no matter where you hit the target , but they do the same damage like the normal rifle ammo. am i missing something Any way what ammo type is the best for rifles??? Or is the normal rifle round the best, cost efficient way to play?

Its been a while so i dunno if the boss has changed but i just killed him today with a knife ^^ (the last one you can buy without exotics in the shop) (and i had a shotgun prepared, the arena sold the boss thingy ^^ ) , but tbf the boss is so slow , you just have to eat 3 food and when he emerges, you run on his side, behind the claws and you perma stab him until last phase, for last phase i used a bif of shotgun cause my knife broke (was 2/3 durability at the start), and also easier with the little scorpions

The game is so unbalanced. Food, medicaments, armour, taming... no real reason to do anything. Just play.

I just learned a trick...if u "DIE"...unconscious & can't be ressed, solo, extra hard mode...just start the mission all over again by going to the NEW block...u have to buy all ur stuff again, but at least u don't have to start from Ground Zero with NUTHING, right? Just make sure you have some CURRENCY to buy all that stuff again!

interesting how much has changed since. and how much hasnt.

plyrometrics is the best perk in the game because spamming sprint jump is as effective as in minecraft... and if you have played minecraft you already know how much faster it is than simply sprinting without jumping. If you jump at an angle of 15 degrees at least you also regen stamina while in the air. This allows you to RAPIDLY cover ground at a rate almost as fast as a horse. And if you are doing missions is the best talent in the game.

I learnt a lot of the tips just by reading more and checking some things. but honestly most of this just comes down to having resources and tech tree things researched first. If you have stone walls and stuff researched then obviously just make a stone base first.

Other than how to get oxygen, this did NOT help. Like how do I make a shelter which is the FIRST obstacle because a storm keeps coming where I need to shelter

The bear strategy does NOT always work on polar bears for some reason, sometimes they’ll run past you, other times they’ll turn on a dime. learned the hard way

Thanks for the info on the hidden books. I do have a question though. I though coin pouches werent allowed. Everytime I try to bring one. The squire tells me that I cant have legendary items going into a dungeon. (Non-highroller)

Can hold space bar and it will keep you above water when overencumbered

Unfortunately while the Devs were pretty open to suggestions and added allot of community ideas. The one thing I mentioned that they didn't do was. Add more maps levels and game modes. This game needed to have a fully fleshed out campaign mode. Similar to left 4 dead to ease people in. Along side the roguelike game mode, survival modes updated PvP etc. The game has potential and I have sunk so many hours I to this beta testing. I love the game but I really wish it went somewhere
