The first fascist one will be without civil war, but we could still go for a full world conquest. In future I plan to come back to the UK and go for a civil war fascist run as well, which might be a bit better suited for a full world conquest!

It sure does, BUT: it is a research, so it takes time, and it takes a research slot. Moreover, it is a 1940 technology. With this strategy, on the other hand, you can get an extra 5 naval invasion capacity (that's a +50%) shortly after starting your run.

Hi! When you give any offensive command to your divisions (spearhead or offensive line) you will see a little blue bar next to their combat strength, organization and entrenchment. It represent planning, which gradually increases daily up to a cap (which can be increased by several traits and doctrines). You can also speed up the process by using the staff office plan commander ability. Planning is very important because it applies as a bonus to your offensive stats once you start the push. For example, if you had a maximum 30% planning your divisions will get a +30% to their soft attack, hard attack and breakthrough, which is absolutely amazing. You will need to stop and get the planning again after completing the push. I hope it was clear enough, but I might actually make a short guide about this!

you however DO NOT need your divisions assigned, they only need to be on the frontline command of their field marshal which you can make by holding SHIFT when placing the field marshal frontline. When you put an offensive line your divisions will get planning even without being assigned to anything so they wont shuffle by themselfs (good for micro when frontline bugs out or when it tries to shuffle stupidly)

Also doctorines and general traits can increase planning SPEED or CAP dont forget that

It depends a little, if you want to maximize the strength of your fleet as soon as possible, then yes you are right. However, since in my run the use of the fleet will be limited, especially before WW2, I prefer to reduce the resources spent on the navy in order not to have to import them. And smaller ships are much cheaper.

Puppeting offers several significant advantages (such as no resistance, no need for garrisons, free puppet divisions) but the main one is that puppets can act like buffer states for you. If you do not call them to war, your enemies won't attack them, effectively reducing the front you need to protect. Moreover, even without calling them to your wars, you can plan and execute naval invasions from them while keeping them neutral.

@MachiavellianStrategist Really? That's pretty neat, I'll have to take advantage of that in the future. I tend to annex because it gives me absolute control over the land and it looks nicer, but reducing the front line I need to protect and invasions are really useful. Technically you are right, you do not need all the cores. However, you won't be able to release them as a puppet if the original country (with cores on that land) still exists (in any form, either as another puppet, as a freed country, or as the actual original country).

Hi! Several people reported this, it is likely to be a bug introduced with one of the latest updates. I will work on this run soon and look for a fix!

There could be a couple of reasons for that: 1) you do not have enough forces deployed, make sure to force deploy them at the same time I do it in the video. 2) it might be that you did not unlock all special doctrines (the ones which cost navy experience to unlock) 3) if you did both of the above, it might be that paradox changed something and I missed it. But this guide is very recent so that should not be the case. Let me know if you can sort it out! (by the way, worst case scenario you can just fill some of the battalions with regular infantry)

Yep, the default democracies supervised states are a very annoying type of puppet, the released ones are much easier to handle!

Hi, I have all DLCs enabled in this run, but the overall strategy does not require them. I would say that the most important ones are "No Step Back" for the tank designer, and "By Blood Alone" for the planes designer (less important though).

​​@@MachiavellianStrategistI want the achievement Munich Disagreement but I cannot push through Southern West Germany But I kept doing this for 6 hours cause I don't have really good PC I can even push through Berlin and North Germany but The charging point is that the German push me back and I lost supply hub I trying to make counter offensive but fail because lack of supply and already have lack of manpower I trying to get the doctrine that give me 3% concription from Mobile Warfare but I know that cannot wait till German declare war on other country and in that time German already declare war on Poland but luckily Polish didn't help but I still have lack of army experience and I know if I'm change concription law I would have lack of equipment replaced so I have to wait for German to push back but they never push back because my army is too good for them now It's kind like in Russian-Ukrainian War that they have stalemate that's what happened in my game so I don't want to wait anymore cause 1 long game it's took me 10$ and I don't really have money so I quit and think a plan to win German without cheat

Hi! That's true, No More Appeasement allows for a more aggressive run (although we still can declare war on the USSR after defeating Germany even without it). The main problem with it is that the stability hit from all those focuses is pretty massive. That's why I thought that if you plan to go for a more aggressive playstyle it would probably be better to just change ideology.

@@MachiavellianStrategist But the whole point is to stick to democracy and keep the allies! Stability is nice but losing it is no big deal it can always be recovered later. Being able to keep things fresh and play as an aggressive democratic nation is priceless.

Hi! Paradox messed up something in one of their updates, so now some diplomatic interaction between the Allies and Germany causes Poland to weirdly respawn. It is most likely a bug, but I am not sure if or when it will be fixed. We should try to identify exactly what is causing it and when, if it is not too late into the war it might be worth waiting until after it before pushing into Poland. Some viewers reported that it might happen when Denmark signs a white peace, but I still have to test it myself. I'll look into that after my fascist UK run!

@@Cyro_77 the armor doesn't really do much, because the AI divisions do not have piercing in any case. The main reason to increase armor is to have higher breakthrough, but we already have plenty! Reliability is already ok, but it will further increase before the war starts thanks to the MIO upgrades. Trust me, these armored divisions perform amazingly!

It must be because we capitulate Belgium so fast that France does not really have time to react. By the time their divisions get there we are already pushing them hard. Which is more or less historical by the way. To be honest though, with those tanks it wouldn't really make much of a difference either way hehe

Hi! It is almost always better to "balkanize" your puppets. That is, splitting them into smaller parts, so that they all have cores. Moreover, each country will have its own focus tree providing additional bonuses. The only reasons not to do that are laziness in the peace conference (this is usually my case) and having higher control over your puppets. Having fewer puppets means it is easier and less expensive (in terms of PP) to reduce their autonomy, thus getting more out of them and potentially peacefully annexing them in future. Overall, the difference is usually not massive.
