First time he tells her it’s forced. He then realizes it’s true, this you can tell by Cumberbatch’s softening of the voice.which is far more intimidate to her. Now here’s where the difference lies in opinions. Moffat Fans that have an obvious blind spot or like his misogyny tend to view it as though he doesn’t care. Why? Every woman around Sherlock is an object whose only purpose is to serve Sherlock in one way or another; just like every female around Doctor Who because obsessed with him - River Song being one. We all remember Madame Pompadours episode where a woman that was a king’s courtesan was suddenly more entranced with the man than her power within the French court. River Song being the ultimate example of this and we know Moffatt got called out in this and then decided to do Dracula and he overdid the opposite direction. So if we believe the writer - he doesn’t care for her. Yeah he spends time in her room (using her), uses her for cases knowing or suspecting she has a crush on him (knowing), and he doesn’t care. What he does care about is that she’s mad at him and this time he may not be able to fix this. For Benedict the actual performer it’s love. He realized he loved her, said it matter of fact at first and then softened his town almost like a whisper the second time. As he realized he did love her. So here’s my opinion: I think it’s complicated. He’s not a normal man, this is a broken man. As such he himself doesn’t want to be around people partially due to his own traumas and another due to his work. He’s not a normal detective, he gets himself into trouble. So when he admitted he loved her, he exposed a weakness aka a way of getting to him. Which was her. He kept his distance to protect her. Now he knows that the cats out of the bag, they both are aware of their feelings. But he doesn’t know if she’s read him correctly now, and even if she did; he’s afraid of what it means. Because now if he admits it’s true; she’ll probably want reciprocation or this is what he thinks. And if he lies to her? She’ll be even more pissed. But he can’t really be with her and he knows this. He’ll put her at risk. So what does he do? He’s in a catch 22… so he lost. Because the emotional context just weakened him. This doesn’t negate that he feels a comarederue with John and you can simultaneously have a platonic non sexual relationship with a man. Many men do. These are the friendships that lost decades and the men that are closer than brothers. It’s not sexual, it’s just that sometimes they are a symbiotic friends relationship. And by the way this also exists with women, it’s harder with us because we tend to fear women going after the men around us but it does happen. And as for Irene Adler, he saw someone that was exactly like him. It’s an attraction of sorts but narcissistic in nature. Hence why he was able to let her go quickly. It was not an emotional situation. It was an I admire you soo much because you are just like me so I’m glued to you because I like my own qualities thing- narcissism.

That character Mrs Hall, is definitely the glue, home + peace of the family. I really think it’s amazing how they wrote this show as it makes one feel at home. I love the show and we are looking forward to season five here in the US this Sunday. The British beat our horrible TV and Masterpiece that showcases it is wonderful…..everyone enjoy season 5 and remember they already commissioned season 6. I already have special snacks and wine ready 😊

With the fact that Sherlock told Molly twice that he loved her, it seemed as if it were genuine. He has also displayed other small affectionate gestures to her.

When i first started watching this a few weeks ago i said to myself i think betty and daniel will get together in the end, i bet on it and i almost stopped believing that it would happen until the end when they started giving hints that daniel is maybe in love with betty and vice versa and when i saw them in london together i just knew when it ended that they definitely went on a date and ended up being happy with eachother and deciding to the spend the rest of their lives together 🥹❤ so i think if there is a reboot then they’ll definitely be together with kids🥰

This was a fabulous series. And well tributes 🎉 may we ask for the film version of the some of Thomas Harry's work ❤

I absolutely love Mrs. Hall in the new All Creatures, she is my absolute favourite character. And I think Anna Madeley does an absolutely outstanding job of bringing Mrs. Hall to life.

Siegfried loves her but he doesn’t realise it yet. The really tender way he looks at her when she isn’t looking says it all.

It's rare to watch a show that creates a world I want to live in, and this show did it flawlessly. It is so well written and well acted and I love all the characters, but Mrs Hall is undoubtedly the heart and soul of this show.

They are like an old married couple!

The way the voiceovers are cut together with the falling and the stabbing is superb. John and Mrs Hudson talking about Sherlock's emotional outbursts is quite a closer. This is really great.
