Do you have trouble to select photos in Lightroom while editing? Im using Camera Raw from Adobe Bridge/photoshop. I usually open total of 100 - 200 photos to edit them, 80% of the photos are R5 RAW and 20% of them are are R6 RAW. I find it so slow while selecting next photos in camera raw or lightroom after edited the first one. For example, After i edited the first picture i move on the next picture, the next one take so long to appear on the preview page, it almost take 10 sec to appear! Just wondering did your macbook pro encountered this problem ? Im using m1 Pro 16gb and 1 tb ssd

Hi, hm that's weird. Mine shows previews right away. Also running from ssd drive. Maybe try a different drive?

I have the Canon R6 and a live streaming 4K. I use it mostly live stream with the camera. I have the M1 64 GB of RAM. Do you think it would handle live streaming in 8K with the Cannon R5?

Never tried, so would not know, I'm sorry. Is there a reason you need to livestream in 8K? Most of the people don't even have an ability to view in 8K and 4K on R5 is pretty much downsampled 8K= same quality.

Once again Roman!! Such beautiful images and great work!! I feel it!! Part of my inspiration of deciding on a C70. So, thank you for that. :) Only thing I would like to ask is what shots are with the R5. Because there are certain shots I really like the best, and the title says Canon C70 and the description says it was shot on the Canon C70. But, I am a little bit confused because in the section that says >> "GEAR USED IN THIS VIDEO:" with the product Links it only says 8K camera and it takes me to the Canon R5. ??? So, was the R5 used in this video? And if so, could I please know somehow which shots are with the R5 if any?? Thanks Caleb! Oh the description is the same for most of my videos. The only shot that is filmed in clog3 on R5 is is the boat scene at 0:10. The drone shots are DJI Air3 and the fpv shots (a few at salt flats and Oregon beach) are on nazgul 5 with the GoPro 12

All the commercials on @explore.films IG as well. I use R5 for photography and sometime as a B cam on interviews or a grip cam attached to a car or bike etc. I'd wait for Black Friday I feel like you can grab it for a great price especially with the C80 out. I prefer the soft pleasing look of C70 over the C80 actually that's why I didn't upgrade. I also tried the C80 and the screen is pretty much the same, a little flimsy, and when using triple iso at 12800 you get some noise. It's def better than C70 but not super clean

Once again....THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH Roman for taking the time to answer me and for all the great help, advice, and info which I appreciate so very much!!! :) I am so relieved to know this because there were several shots in this video that were so clear and crisp and pleasing to my eye that I thought they might have been with the 8K in the R5, but to know now that everything in this video minus the boat shot at 0:10 was all shot on the C70 is so great to know and really re-assures my decision to purchase the C70 on Black Friday and from all the videos I've seen of the C80, none of the images have appealed to my liking and my taste the way the C70's image does, because of the DGO sensor, and especially from watching all your videos. Hi Roman!! 😊First of all I want to say how grateful I am for your channel (which I am now subscribed to) and how impressive your work and image quality is, especially everything you get out of the canon C70, which I am looking to buy. So, congratulations on your talent and all your skills and thank you for sharing all the tips and advice which is very much appreciated. I would really like to know, if you don’t mind sharing with me, what lenses you were using when explaining the auto focus segment, in both 24p and slow motion. Because I love how that looks. At minute 7:03, on the screen of the C70, I can see that it says 25mm at F1.2, but then from minute 7:27 on, when you are explaining the autofocus in Slow Motion, I don’t see anything to identify which lens you might be using there. Anyways, I love how the image looks that you created, especially during that segment and the normal speed motion and the girl on the beach by the tree, and then how it looks in slow motion. So, I would be so grateful if you wouldn’t mind sharing with me what exact lens or lenses you were using for those autofocus explanation shots. Because it looks really really nice, how I like things to look, and I would really appreciate knowing. Well, I guess that is all for now. Thank you very much for such kind words. With the C80 out, C70 now is even better camera for such a good price. I actually prefer the soft look of the C70 over the C80, so I will not be upgrading. At 7:03 I'm using sigma 35 1.4 EF with canon speed booster at 1.0 (1.4 becomes 1.0 with the speed booster. At 7:27 its 16-35 canon ef mount at 2.8. Cheers!

And yes, I totally agree about the C70 over the C80. I have been watching every single video I can find of footage and reviews of the C80 and those have been my thoughts exactly. Not liking the sharper image and not looking as nice/filmic as the C70. Probably most of all because of the C80 not having the DJO sensor. So, I am really aiming for the C70 too. I have a BP 450 ProTactic, it's great, BUT I'm still not satisfied, you have nowhere to put clothes, I carry powerbanks, drones, underwater drone, gimbal, tablet holder for the drone, etc. The backpack is completely full, but the clothes, etc. are nowhere to be found you don't give

Thank you! Log2 and didn't use a lut on this one. I switched to Davinci a while ago and started exploring the color-grading process there it's a lot of fun. All C70, drone shots are mavic air 3

Thanks for the review. You mentioned that hip belt is removable? I have watched reviews where they say it's not removable. Confused :)

The hip belt cannot be detached from the bag without scissors/knife. But there are two small pouches, one on each side in back, so instead of clipping the belt in front, you can roll up each of the two hip belt parts and store them in their pouches in back of the 400 AW III. Stowed this way, the belt also gives you a little more padding in back above your hips.

Hi, I followed your video closely, but on my C70 ch. 3 and 4 are dimmed, so I cannot set up anything with those channels. How do you activate ch. 3 and 4 like you have. I cannot even select them on the menu because they are dimmed. Thanks,

Few things. Slow motion mode will be grayed out. If you switch to xavc and go to the 3rd main menu (before the audio menu) and see where it says audio format mp4? You can set 4 channels there

Found this while setting up a DJI Mic 2 with the C70. My tips for anyone using the DJI Mic is to set the gain high on the ouput of the DJI (+9) and really dial down the input volume of the C70. That results in the lowest noise floor. The C70 has a fairly good DAC but, it still introduces noise if the input levels aren't set right, or gain is too low. Nice video!

Do you think it's worth buying a MacBook M1 Pro with 16 GB of RAM to run After Effects in 2024 for a project like this? I need your opinion, especially for long animations with 3D layers. Should I consider a Windows laptop with an RTX 4050 and 32 GB of RAM instead?

depends on what else you wanna do with that laptop, the graphic card doesn‘t matter all that much if u only use after effects.. though if the models you choose are in the same price range, and you‘re mainly looking for a laptop to edit on, i‘d always go for more ram

use paper tape to seal the suction cups so you don't need to constantly check them as the tape will help to ensure no moisture or dust gets into the suction cup.
