I'm sure someone pointed it out, but I don't see it. That was Saavik with Spock's apparent son. First played by Kirstie Alley in The Wrath of Khan, and then by Robin Curtis (who you see playing her here) in The Search for Spock and briefly on The Voyage Home.

the digital prosthetics are insane here. this is so well done. the music. the emotions. reuniting with a lost friend. everything is amazing. I've said it on other posts, but seeing the names Roddenberry, Nimoy, and Shatner in a Trek production feels so right. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want to know who "Crusher" in the credits is in the film. who was it?!?!? what was Mitchell doing there? was it really Spock's son? AH!

Why is there no dialog but Kirk's voice in the background echo chamber? Even Kirk saying good bye to Spock? Crazy...

CGI is a wonderful tool it won't be long now before you cant tell the real MC coy from the fake one not to mention self indulgence I wonder how CGI will resolve that issue? 😊

Been a fan since just before TNG first aired. I didn't think it was possible to be more thoroughly obliterated than Spock's death in WRATH OF KHAN but here we are...fuckin' 38 years of feels just all coalesced into one 8 minute burst. Still not okay.

Cant remember that aliens name but i know he has godlike abilities cause he crossed from the kelvin timeline to the prime so im guessing he help kirks spirit cross over to be with spock in his final moments not even time and space could keep friends apart

Watching this, I get the sense that William Shatner has made peace with his own death. He's had one helluva run. I wish that I'd had more than one brief interaction with you when we crossed paths on horseback on a hillside in Griffith park 30 years ago, Bill, but I'm grateful for that. We're grateful for the decades of wonderful performances you gave us all.

Well, it *is* Bill Shatner doing the acting. That's why his walk is a bit odd; 93 year olds don't awing their arms much. They're less flexible. But his expressions are the same.

Star Trek Picard. Kirk's body at the Daystrom Space Station being experimented on by Section 31. Project Phoenix. While in a stasis chamber there are life signs. Fast forward to this, Gary Mitchell kirks' friend is a man who gained god like abilities. Is hanging out in the Ether. Gary decides to fully resurrect his friend Kirk. Somehow someway people instrumental to Kirk and Spock are brought together. Yor the time soldier gives Kirk the ability to cross time and space to be with his Friend his brother in spirit before he passes on. This wasnt something in the Nexus. Gary Mitchell actually brought Kirk back. Kirk goes thru the Memory wall. And sees aspects of himself at different points in time. Not even time and space could keep them separated. This was simply closure for 2 friends. Terry Matalas said he included Kirk in season 3 that future writers might be able to bring kirk back. Star Trek OTOY did that.

It’s fitting how Spock gets to see his family literally during death, it’s what his family would’ve wanted for Leonard Nimoy. Film helps in how we deal with loss and those we miss.

The majority of people that have had NDE's say in the afterlife, there are no spoken words verbally, only telepathic communication.I believe that this is what is what they are attempting to convey here. The body language, eye movement, etc will intuitively tell you everything that they are saying (communicating) to each other. It's a spiritual language which only the soul can feel, see and hear. Beautifully done.
