Y'know it's funny they made Shadow an unlockable in this. I'm reminded of how Sonic 06 had it that Shadow and Silver traveled back in time ten years and Shadow ended up being the guy to seal Mephiles away in the Scepter of Darkness or whatever it was called. If you interpret the Sonic games taking place around the same time they were released, then Shadow and Silver would have traveled back to seal away Iblis and Mephiles in 1996!

It would be better if the gameplay was faster. Compared to this game, Sonic 3 and 4 from MD/Genesis look much more dynamic

Metal Sonics has to be my favorite I especially wonder what would happen if all of them attacked you at once

I know the game's dev probably wasnt a good spriter, and just used other assets to make what he needed, but I still feel the need to point out where most of the assets come from. First of all, the rocks in the foreground use a pallete-shifted version of Lava Reef's rocks. Obviously, the lava is from that same zone. The floor tiles use the floors from Hot Crater Zone, of Sonic Advance 2. The "back" tiles use the rock textures from Hot Crater as well. The background, meanwhile, is a fusion of Hot Crater's background -- specifically the lower part -- and the middle part of Mystic Cave's background. Above that Mystic Cave background is the mountains from Marble Garden. I honestly have no idea what clouds at the top of the background are from. I believe they're from Flying Battery? Possibly? I'll admit though, its a good use of assets.

This level is where I called it quits on my one playthrough of this game. I was done with it by now. Also, by the way, that background is a mishmash of two different Advance backgrounds. it uses the ground thingies from Toy Kingdom Zone in Advance 3, and the sunset background it uses is from one of the advance games. I'm not sure which, all I know is that it is, in fact, one of them.

i stopped playing in spring stadium because i had enough of the game's bullshit, but i need to note, this is just discount ice cap. also it uses the textures for Ice Mountain in Sonic Advance. the dev just didnt care.

I can’t tell, is it just your gameplay, or did they somehow make the og Genesis half pipe special stages worse? Sonic moves around like he’s on ice, and there’s barely any time to react when the rings come on screen.
