Also today in this playthrough of Sonic 3D in 2D I'll being doing Gene Gadget Zone where I be getting damage a lot in is video (Mostly because of the Bosses), the next and final zone is Panic Puppet Zone. I hope you will enjoy the video ^ ^

This looks a lot better than 3D Blast, not much going in the background at least in the Mega Drive/Genesis version

Here’s how the backgrounds are... Weather conditions: There’s rain in act 1 whereas there isn’t rain in act 2 The sky in both acts: Stardust Speedway Zone Bad Future (Sonic CD) Act 1 industrial scene of the outside background: Scrap Brain Zone Act 1 (Sonic 1) with some parts taken from Oil Ocean Zone (Sonic 2) Factory interior of both acts: ??? Act 2 industrial scene of the outside background: The only difference is that the back tileset happens to be the mountains of Spring Yard Zone (Sonic 1) rather than Scrap Brain Zone Act 1’s back tileset like in Act 1 Act 2 factory interior of the final area: Combines the backgrounds of Wacky Workbench Zone Present (Sonic CD) and Flying Battery Zone (Sonic 3 and Knuckles) with some parts taken from other sources

Lord, this stage smh. Always liked its music though. Damn, that act 1 boss, though lol. Good ol memories of that Quartz Quadrant-like act 2 boss. Nice work as always.

Screw all the metal sonics fight 3 at once is a nightmare for me to beat without using super sonic

@@itsgiants150 lol. And I thought fighting them separately was hard enough back then. Fun fact: there's a glitch in S3&K that causes you to fight multiple Mecha Sonics in Sky Sanctuary. Could be fighting multiple Infinites though ;)

I allways have strong Blade runner vibes from this stages and its music. Love it!! This how Sonic games should be. Cool and certainly serious, with beautyfull backgrounds, not childish and ridicule like ultimately...

If this (apart from the inclusion of Amy,shadow, the future mecha sonics, fang, the mini bosses) was the initial release for sonic blast on genesis and sonic 3d blast was actually 3d like sonic or from sonic jam for the saturn this could have been one of the best games for the sonic franchise

Wow the act 2 boss must have taken forever to program. It also looks much more challenging than a majority of the bosses from the Genesis era.

Yep and notice the industrial part of the background happens to be of Scrap Brain Zone Act 1 which is fitting though I would love to have the bottom background part of Gene Gadget Zone Act 2 to have the same bottom background part as that of Chrome Gadget Zone.

On the final part of Act 1, press down, right, down, left. Also the boss.. it is totally impossible to not take damage. Why couldn't we just have a one on one battle against Metal Sonic or the new black one? Your unluckiest time would be when the black one, Metal Sonic and Robo Sonic are freed. Your luckiest time would be when Silver Sonic, Robo Sonic and Mecha Sonic are freed.

The first act is the reason I quit this game! The pipe section is so obnoxious! But the boss is even worse! Just like every fucking ACT 1 boss in this fangame, it's impossible to beat this without taking damage, or winning on the first try! But this boss is worse than Fang, Metal Knuckles, Tails Doll etc.! I need to beat 3/5 random roboticized Sonics and all of them are fucking me around with their INFINITE amount of attacks, make me lose rings, and DIE!!!! Since then, I've decided to NEVER play this piece of crap ever again! Edit: I returned to the game and finally managed to beat the zone! But I still gave up on the game when I arrived at the final boss (in Panic Puppet)! This game was very unfun for me and made me rage millions of times! But not as much as the ending of that act! Tho, I have to admit that I'm also not really the best Classic Sonic player and I have some skill issues and the game, simply wasn't made for me! (and I also admit that I have anger problems)

I can relate so much currently, I haven't quitted but the Act 1 boss genuinely sucks ass. I will say though that I personally appreciate the challenging bosses in this game. Especially since most classic sonic bosses are pretty easy to beat if you know what you're doing. But, despite that I will admit that the metal/mecha sonic fights are an absolute nightmare and the pipe section just before the bosses makes it even worse.
