Why would you make this tent all black????? The walls are a big miss too. Velcro attachment and not zippered. Way too much area to allow water or wind in. Learn from shiftpods mistakes don’t make new ones.

Do the brackets lay flat on the tent or slightly off when you tighten them down? Assuming they are not flush.
@gofsr14 күн бұрын
They'll lay slightly off when tightened down, so there's no rubbing on the tonneau cover.

I have the Aspen Lite XL. On a 4runner. It does stick out. Been having trouble with mounting gears. Also, Since I am 217lbs while climbing up the ladder with the single track mount along the side. How is it able to hold my weight but not other gears? 😂 another trouble I’ve been dealing with is the tent cover to protect the XL. If I mount the handles on the tent there is no way I am able to use the cover. Please help. Looking for a way to be able to mount a FSR awning for the future. 🙏 other than that it’s very comfortable.
@gofsr14 күн бұрын
Great question! Aspen Lite is our ultralight tent and it features a 1 track channel system to save on weight, while the other tents in our lineup come with a 2 track channel system. Our awnings are designed to mount to a 2 track channel system which is why it doesn't work with Aspen Lite (not because of weight). Most of our customers who want to run an awning with this tent mount it directly to their rack. What rack do you have on your 4Runner? I would reach out to them and see if they offer awning brackets that would work with an FSR awning. For carrying gear, we just introduced Aspen Lite Crossbars that will support a load capacity up to 115 lbs.

@@gofsr I have the Sherpa roof rack. With the Aspen lite XL it extends about 6 inches off the Sherpa Roof rack on both ends of the rack.

Fisherman, as well, are prolific users of the "overland" equipment
@gofsr21 күн бұрын
Good point! There's a lot of activities beyond "overlanding" that use the equipment to get out there and do something they enjoy. Climbers, hunters, fisherman...

We always needed tools and know how to stay alive outdoors. 😂 Now we get to enjoy and celebrate nature with the gear ⚙️ 😎 that make it so much fun!
@SamanthaHAgastin22 күн бұрын
Awesome 🎉 Fashion comes and goes. Enthusiasm fades. Passion does not 😂❤ Outdoors activities are the base of human beings' lives... Call it overlanding if you will... It has always been about experiencing outdoors. Camping 🏕 ⛺️ 🥾 spending time in nature, a few hours, days, months, or as a lifestyle, no matter how you define it, stays the same natural need to evolve in our natural habitat. It's like swimming becoming swimming in open waters... it defines an activity and a market to allow businesses to define their products. It is still swimming in the sea, lake... The important thing is to go out there and connect to ourselves and nature. FRS products and FRS tent King V2 in particular does a great job to enhance the experience. Thank you 🎉❤

Where can I find the air pump,for the matters you recommend
I love the tri layer material and my rtt, but this misses the mark for me. I really wanted to get this but all the walls being on the outside and not removable from the inside or having windows that allow ventilation while sleeping is a no go for me. A single window without ventilation just isn’t enough

You guys are spot on in my opinion. I purchased a high country 80 a few years back and absolutely love it, and it is great for my family. I do kayak bass fishing and used the high country 80 for a couple of years and it just became a little to much to close up/pack up in the early mornings. I fell for the trap and bought a hard-shell tent through amazon (Top oak) and as soon as it arrived, I wish I could have sent it back. The quality difference between FSR and this tent are night and day difference. Once zipper has already broke and the rubber seal cracked in one area. Going to try to off load it here pretty quick and looking at the Aspen V2. Keep doing what you're doing, and I love your accessories.

If you're considering the Aspen V2 Standard, it's currently 15% off so it's a great time to buy. We've seen some people have success with getting rid of other tents on Facebook Marketplace, but we also have a trade in program. You can learn more about that if you write in to [email protected]. We'd love to help you get into another FSR tent!
