Velcro for the floor seems like a cost savings as opposed to a zipper which would be much more effective at keeping stuff out of the tent. Given how expensive these are

Yeah honestly I was actually interested in the tent until I saw that... A non-removeable floor would actually be much better than this. sucks because I really liked how the walls are all mesh for maximum breeze when camping in the heat. All the other similar style tents have closed walls and tiny windows. but I'd rather be hot and sweaty than allow bugs and critters to get in.

Having to take the floor out “recommended” kills this for me.

Couple of questions, how do you deal with ventilation and condensation and would'nt a footprint be a good idea to help keep floor clean and prevent having to install it every time? Thank you.

Great questions! Ventilation is as easy as rolling your windows up on the sides. You can either roll them half way up or all the way to create plenty of ventilation. Additionally, we have a stove pipe jack at the rear of the tent to allow for a wood burner or stove. In terms of the floor footprint, our Anywhere Camp mat is the perfect fit in our Hub 4XL but can be used in any of our Hub tents.

@@gofsr Thank you for your response. I really like this tent but I'm concerned it's another tent designed more for an arid climate out west and not a true 4 season tent where humidity and moisture are a problem. Lack of proper ventilation ports to help control compensation in the winter is a concern. Rolling up sides doesn't to be a great solution to me. Maybe in a future version this will be addressed. The anywhere mat looks to be a great product for the interior but I'm talking about a proper ground mat for under the tent. The tri-layer fabric of the anywhere mat doesn't seem to lend itself to that application. Sorry if I seem overly critical but I purchased an expensive hub tent earlier this year that turned out to be a "dry season" winter tent rather than an all season tent for the conditions I actually camp in here in the midwest. Blowing rain and high winds, cold weather at freezing or below with snow, hot and humid summers. I'm still looking fortunately.

I see on your website that it's compatible with the car connect, but can that front door section come off completely for attachment to an SUV? Does that make sense? You may have mentioned that in the video and I missed it?
@gofsr4 ай бұрын
The car connect zips all the way around the front of the hub and the wall with the door does not come off. So once the hub and car connect are attached to a vehicle, you will still have the single door to go in and out of. The whole wall doesn't detach.

Stove jack size? What size pipe fits?

I though a hub tent was supposed to be faster? This seems like a huge headache. Roll up walls? Really?lol. Stove jack but nothing for a diesel heater doesn't make much sense at all to me
