These were slide transparencies that I purchased and then scanned. I have no clue who took them. I can only assume it was the same person and they lived somewhere near the Maryland/Virginia border area in the late 60s and early 80s. There are some others but they're local bands that most people wouldn't know.

I wore this out this album. Paul Silvius is a true hidden treasure and I was fortunate to see this group in north FL around this time. And when my band opened for Del in Fort Myers I requested Eli Renfro and his reaction was like ‘not what I expected’.

Standard Elliott capos use 10-24 threads. However, the Tony Rice uses 6-32 threads. It appears the Collins might use 6-32 as well. That accounts for much of the difference it fit you demonstrated. Compare the other Elliott capos to the TR and you should notices a significant difference. FWIW, Kat-Eyz capos also use 6-32 threads and have very little play in the screw.

I have a 95 XLT, and right on the top part of the front bumper there's a couple of spots where the chrome flaked off. There's no rust, but it doesn't look so good,.And I was thinking about getting that exact bumper, but now I'm not so sure. I'd really like to find an OEM bumper that's in good condition, but there's no salvage yards around where I'm at. That's why I thought about going with the LMC bumper.

Fox has a variety of models, but you are confused. The KG11 that costs $400, is not solid wood back and sides. The KG14 is solid wood back and sides and costs $200 more. So you either bought the wrong guitar, or you got the wrong guitar shipped. I have a good friend who owns a lot of expensive guitars and he raves about his KG14, says it's the best guitar he owns for traditional blues music. So, try and confirm your facts before you bash somebody who has devoted a good portion of his life trying to make these vintage style guitars available again and affordable. His book is amazing; the leading expert on Kalamazoo guitars. Obviously the KG11 is not the same quality as the KG14. And he has other models from time to time as well.
@bluegrassboy4 ай бұрын
I wasn't confused and I wasn't bashing anyone. At the time I bought this guitar, the KG-11, it was advertised as having solid back and sides on Paul Fox's website. I emailed with Paul Fox about it and he stopped advertising them as such. A little while after this video was recorded I uploaded a follow-up .
