EASY Way to add extra drain holes to your Pond Prowler, Bass Raider, Pelican, or other plastic boat?

Here's my quick and fairly easy way to add drain holes and plugs to your plastic 2 man boat to drain the water out that works it's way inside the boat. My method does require you to stand the boat up on end or at least close to it. But mine isn't on a trailer so it's not an issue for me.

For anyone who has the angler 10 it has two drain plugs in the front right under the boat

If you take off the metal plate on the transom there is a plug under there.

Thanks, but I don't want to have to unbolt it every time I need to drain water. This works out great for my purposes.

So far, no issues, I still get a little water in the boat just like always, the plugs just let me get it out!

They've been fine so far. They fit in fairly tight.

Just got a used pond prowler. How do you know if there is water inside your hull? Another solution might be to install screw in drain plugs like used n boats. They are always under water and and don’t let hardly any water in.

Just pick one end up and if there's water inside, you'll hear it running to the other end.

I'm surprised that pelican don't just put scrupper holes in these boats like they do with their sit on top kayaks.
