Seems to me that they extracted the primary letters from “Marie” and “Antoinette” into “Marianne.” A perfect way to convey the idea of liberty born out of tyranny.

What would happen if I decided to stage a political performance with the slogan "The king is coming!" and burn an effigy of Marianne in a square in Paris?

In the Hungarian tradition, in our ancient writing, liliom is the reading of two syllables from top to bottom. The reading means god (in Hungarian: IS-TEN). The upper, larger part of the symbol containing two lilies represents the parent god, the lower, smaller lily represents the child god. It was put on a compass so that we remember that God shows the true direction. The king's scepter and crown were placed in order to remember that the king's power comes from God.

A noter que la Fleur de Lys est aussi sur la couronne des rois et reines ... anglais. ^^ Et oui ne pas oublier la longue histoire commune des deux pays avec les fameux "Rois Français d'Angleterre" (dont le dernier représentant est "Richard Cœur de Lion"), qui durant près de 3 siècles fondèrent l'Angleterre et l'organisation qu'elle connait encore aujourd'hui. "Dieu et mon Droit" et "Honnie soit qui mal y pense" en français dans le texte...

Would it be a better translation: “The duty of Comedy is to correct men through entertainment?” I believe I have heard it like that, but I’ve heard it in a theater arts environment.

Je le suggère aussi : Don Juan de Félix Gray, Roméo et Juliette de Persgurvic (ABSOLUMENT), Cindy Cendrillon (quelques chansons), Spartacus (je reviendrai et d'autres chansons sont sympas), peut-être aussi le petit prince de Cocciante, pour ceux qui aiment ce genre d'histoire. Cependant, ces spectacles sont pour la plupart vieux de 10 ans ou plus, y a-t-il quelque chose de nouveau à voir ?

I don’t know if you can speak English, but I’ll try my best to add french translation under my statement! :) Wow! It seems as if Mardi Gras/Carnival is pretty similar to how we celebrate Mardi Gras here in New Orleans! I always thought it was slightly different! En Français: Hou la la! Il semble que le Mardi Gras / Carnaval soit assez similaire à la façon dont nous célébrons le Mardi Gras ici à la Nouvelle-Orléans! J'ai toujours pensé que c'était légèrement différent! Merci beaucoup!

Fleur de lis means ...like a blooming flower,what we know is limited but what what needs to be explored is unlimited. The 2 petals to the right and left represent that insight has been gained.The main bulb means there is more wisdom/ knowledge/ insight to be gained.... It is a symbol with message ...simply meaning " keep seeking/ exploring the unknown is infinite"
@MP-py7ji4 жыл бұрын
This symbol is so powerful and needed in these times of confusion. We must all unite ourselves as rational beings and make this planet a true place of freedom and liberty. If this symbol interests you, maybe you'd like to check some Hyperian videos online. It is truly in the spirit of Marianne as Freedom and Liberty.
