would a 6 inch flex hose be long enough to heat up get a coupler in between 2 hard pipes that have no flex?? I currently have a rubber boot like your showing with clamps in between two hard pipes. Not sure if it will hold it's on a hot tub plumbing under high pressure

Did you use a patio stone under the buttress free end channel on the inside of the pool by the strap .so two stones per end channel one on the outside of the pool and one on tje inside ?

If you are asking about the buttress free supports, i used one 2” cap block just on the outside end to keep keep it from sinking into ground.

I bought some 10 pound weights at 5 Below & tied them to each side on the underside of the steps but I didn’t have quite enough weight. The pvc pipe is giving me some ideas. I need to add more weight this summer.

Hi! Thank you for the informative video. I need a little more info if possible. My husband and I recently separated. He left the pool turning green with many leaves in the bottom with the pool still running. I’m in NC it is pretty cold. But I don’t know what to do at this point because it is too late to clean the pool or put the stairs in the middle so I really don’t know where to start.

Just making sure , You used 6 test caps? Do I wait until cement dries to connect to 3/4" pvc bars? Did you only have 1 bar on the one side to connect all 3 weights? I also do better actually seeing it, But seems simple enough as long as I have correct supplies. I'm doing this tomorrow, I agree the sand is not the best idea. I'm ready for anything other than what I've tried. Oh please 1 more thing , is there anything other than the original step to deck support that might work.
@SafeTravelRV
@SafeTravelRV 11 ай бұрын
Yes, 6 caps, wait at least a week for concrete to dry. Spread the weight out by using 2 bars if you can. I took my deck mount brackets to a metal fab shop and they made new ones out of stainless steel diamond plate. then i had them powder coated.

Don't the sand go in the steps?
@alcouch331
@alcouch331 Жыл бұрын
I use these weights and do not put sand in steps! Here’s why: it makes it very heavy if you want to remove steps later and it’s takes some time to get enough sand in the steps. Use the weights and drill some more holes in steps to allow air to escape.

Hi. I know this comment is late, but after you install the end caps with the rings, where do you hang them? You didn't show that part. Do you install hooks on the inside of the steps to hang them from?

Hi, please review video again. At the 2:46 section, I explain how to hang the weights from the pvc bar I discussed at the beginning of video using zip ties. I should have mentioned that you need the large zip ties found in the HVAC section of Home Depot. Just ask and someone will help you find them. Hope this helps!
