that’s a punch needle board
@alliepaigeart
@alliepaigeart 8 күн бұрын
@@kellan-h4k I am confused by this comment. I’m assuming it’s supposed to be rude like it’s “obviously punch needle.” This is not punch needle, it’s traditional hand embroidery. Punch needle uses a larger hallow needle in a handle to “punch” loops in fabrics. This is traditional hand embroidery used by holding an embroidery needle and sewing into the fabric .

Anyone thinking it’s expensive needs to actually go to a store that sells these supplies and look at the prices, then, i would like u to find out EXACTLY what is needed to replicate what this creator is making, and then i would also like u to go learn how to embroider basic things thru vids. Finally i want u to attempt to replicate what this creator is making. It takes YEARS to get this good at embroidery

I just wanted to let you know how I appreciated you leaving this comment. Anyone who asks this question must not understand how long it takes to embroider! Especially single strand embroidery. A single piece can take weeks or months for the level of detail used in thread painting. Your work is beautiful!

@alliepaigeart You are so welcome! I've been subscribed for a while now and I love your work. I got into embroidery a few months ago and I adore the craft. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up well in these times of social media, short attention spans, and fast consumption of digital content. You can't exactly churn out 3 new embroidery pieces every week to keep up with the algorithm, and social media sites likely punish your account for it. It really sucks. But just know that there are people who appreciate your work and who look forward to seeing your creations! 😊

Does the fabric fray at all?
@alliepaigeart
@alliepaigeart 21 күн бұрын
When I finish I back these pieces with felt so there’s no real friction that causes fraying (and you wouldn’t be able to see the tiny bit there is just from cutting without linking shears) If I was going to leave the back exposed I’d use pinning shears and a bit of fray check
