Best version ever , where could I find high definition recording of the same exact live performance ?
@SolveEtCoagula934 күн бұрын
I just checked their website and they have several recordings available but, sadly, there wasn’t a version of this one. The only other thing is to download the sound track, either directly, or download the whole video and then rip the soundtrack. It won’t be the quality you probably want but it will still be good and very listenable.

I lay on my sofa and listened to this uninterrupted. Perhaps the most magical music I have ever heard. I wept.
Perfect performance,👌🏼perfect staging. The choir is magnificent.💝

I lost a pal Christmas Eve 24, a friendship forged 60 years ago. He took a higher path, I took a lower path. He watched my back always.. Almost a brother, you are out of pain now my dear friend, thank you Richard for the years.

As 2024 draws to an end, let's pause for a while and think of the wonderful and happy memories we have of those no longer with us. They gave us comforting words when needed. Who wrapped there arms around us just to let us know they were there for us. The sounds of their laughter and the warmth of their love......

I maintain that Barber's Adagio for Strings is the greatest thing to ever happen to sound waves, and the same with a vocal arrangement is up there on the list too!

I remembered the Vietnam War from my TV set on the evening news at 7:00 with Walter Cronkite. I think this song from the movie Platoon depicts it perfectly, especially the scene at the end where Dale Dye (the captain) is looking at all the death around him. TRUE: He was actually having a flashback, and Oliver Stone, also a vet, recognized it and zoomed in on his face to capture it. Strong stuff
