We have known about transmission and prevention since the early 80s. I cannot understand how people are still contracting this disease in these times. In theory it should be completely preventable.

HIV is a concern. However we have Prep and Doxy. We shouldn’t be ashamed of sex anymore. I’m negative but have no fear in being sexual or having a relationship with someone who is positive

Can I ask why you didn’t take PREP? Or if accidental exposure PEP. Also, it must mean your partner wasn’t on meds. There is no reason people should becoming positive these days.

Anxiety can be paralyzing. I know first hand. It's okay. My doctor prescibed Buspirone for my anxiety. It helped me so much. Talk with your doctor. I hope you can get the help you need.

You have many years in front of you. I am shocked that I haven’t died years ago. I was extremely promiscuous starting at 18 back in 1983. I would go to West Hollywood from Redlands and be well something I wasn’t proud of. I continued this behavior for many decades and I never one asked for condom use. I did have a scare in early 24’ and got lucky and decided at that point it was time to “retire”. As far as relationships and end is hard that’s why they call it loves king sting. Just go be you and gain happiness through taking care of you.

Long-termer here (35 years or so). Take the antiretroviral meds regularly, eat well, keep working out, and reduce stress in any way you can. Sounds like you’re on the right track and you’ll be fine. ❤
