I love the trophy room because you get to see the animal again and you telling us the story.

What a great hunt! Have you ever got the tag for elk in Kentucky with the reintroduced population there that's like 13k plus now? Saw it on meateater with steve rinella that seems like a great hunt to do if you're lucky enough as well. Love the channel and the adventures you share!

Better without that 'guide'... as is every hunt.. God I hate guided hunts.. How tacky, driving around like that. Absolutely ruined it.

So. A few things here. I am sure the majority of the comment section here knows absolutely nothing about bison in our country. Officially 500,000 exist in America. In reality only 20k or so can even remotely be called “wild”. You see Bison are a tad political even to this day. They aren’t considered as a wild animal they are looked at as livestock. Which means officially state agencies could care less about managing them as a wild animal. People don’t want them restored. Truly they can’t ever be either givin the population of modern USA. So. If someone kills a Bison it is almost certain it isn’t truly wild or even have the DNA of our original wild Bison. So while Mark is a interesting dude with a ton of money who I generally wouldn’t defend. One should look at the bigger picture. Also it should be noted that Bison are amongst the dumbest animals alive. How do you think 30 million of them were killed from trains?

At 14:17 you can see the buffalo has a ear tag 😂😂 yea they are free range that’s why you can crawl to 50 yards

Ranch and free range don’t go together, if there are fences it’s not free range no matter the size, but still watching
@braydenwillis47335 күн бұрын
You can tell these buffalo get fed every other day the way they don’t spook and when they do they just run 100 yards 😂
@alexandercluster30035 күн бұрын
@@braydenwillis4733 no Bison spook. Yellowstone Bison are one of the purest strain wild bison left in North America. They are dumber than a box of rocks.
@MrNatty135 күн бұрын
I think I know what you mean… but because there’s no unfenced areas in this country anymore, there must be no free range game anymore? You said “if there’s fences it’s not free range no matter the size.” Do you mean just for the Buffalo or deer and elk too?
@MrNatty135 күн бұрын
I guess my point is this - even public land and parks like Yellowstone have an exterior border. So in regards to your statement about it not being free range as long as fences are involved “no matter the size”, all lands in this country fall out of what you call “free range.”
@rosshill25654 күн бұрын
@MrNatty13 Nevada has lots of free-range land. What fences we do have are short and do not hold any animals in. I think the big difference is if the fence is large enough to keep the animals from leaving, then that is not free Range.

I had thought about including it in this adventure, but worked with the major breeder who is releasing these every year on a major project and there weren't enough for me to go and get it to advertise yet. I have plans to do this once the population grows. I just didn't feel I should add this one in as it would have brought a lot of pressure on them.
