2024 Kentucky Late Muzzleloader Hunt | Mark V. Peterson Hunting

I have received quite a few messages about shooting a 2nd deer in Kentucky. Like a lot of states, Kentucky has Commissioner tags that they give to Non-profits in the Outdoor Industry to help raise money. Each year they have 10 Whitetail Commissioner tags that are available through the various Non-profits. This tag allows a hunter to harvest a second Whitetail in Kentucky. In 2020, during COVID-19, I bought my first farm in Kentucky to film on. With my travel restricted, this was my best option to get to hunt. With that, I also bought my 1st Commissioner tag allowing me to harvest a second deer. After that, I have continued to buy a Commissioner tag each year. I’m a believer that the Governor's tags and Commissioner tags are great fundraising tools for the states to use for conservation!! KY is a 1 buck State. He applied for a tag that is given out in areas with over population. & he was able to get one..
