Why do most ferries leave at night? And not all seem to have bus drop off, so you have to walk in the dark from the last bus stop. The city at night is pretty though. And that secret beach was perfect. THere was the other later on, very pretty. Glad you survived the rough sea. Thank you for sharing your trip.

I think the reason because it's better to sleep immediately and passengers get off daytime. The ferry terminal in Tokyo is pretty close to the nearest station. So it's no problem.

Do people in Japan travel alone a lot? Seems when I watch travel videos, there are many single people, maybe because no one else in the family wants to join them, not that they are unmarried.? Friends used to ask me, why do you travel so much alone. If I didn't, I'd never travel. Thank you for sharing your trip!
@off-to-japan24 күн бұрын
Well, I can say people in Japan don't like traveling alone mostly. but a few like traveling so. Me also like it. Japanese don't so social like talking to strangers. Maybe because they don't have any partner to travel with.
@Iluthra24 күн бұрын

I’ve not seen anything I don’t like about Japan so far. I love the cleanliness, politeness, hard work, food, technology. I think I should have been born there and can’t understand why so many people want to sneak into my country, the uk, on boats.

Is sake to be drunk hot or cold? I always thought you warmed it up. I would buy a small bottle every Winter to use with my sake set I bought in an Asian store here in America. Then I saw videos where people sampled sake and drank it cold. Which is best?
@off-to-japanАй бұрын
It depends on which types and grades sake you are drinking. There are many kinds of sake. Cold sake is characterized by its refreshing taste. This makes it an ideal drink for sake with a refreshing flavor, such as ginjo-shu (aromatic sake) and nama-shu (unpasteurized sake). Sake with a robust flavor, such as junmai or honjozo sake, is best suited for heating. Sake with a strong aroma, such as daiginjo-shu, may lose its aroma when heated, making it unsuitable for warming up. Check out the website! www.diffordsguide.com/bws/1183/sake/types-and-grades

@off-to-japanАй бұрын
I think I never talked about a suite before because I've never tried it before. Even if so, the price depends on which route you choose. Which ferry route did you check?

Why wasn't the tugboats around when you have to have them when it's cruise ship or a fairy has one engine is working and the other engine is disabled?
@off-to-japanАй бұрын
I rarely see tugboats when I travel by ferry. It' because ferries voyage just around Japan so it's easy to come to help.
