when you do a trade in (4:47), do you have to trade in only the cards you just drew, or can you trade in that card that's been in your hand? also, can you trade in at the end of your turn if you built nothing and still had 3? what i mean is, you have 3 in your hand, cant build, so you decide to end your turn with trading in one?

Is it possible to play zombie dice with regular dice? Say you assigned numbers 1-2 as brains, 3-4 as footsteps, and 5-6 as shotgun shots. And just different color dice.

Can troops be moved around to another adjacent continents once the attack phase is over and before the next player's turn?

I don't need a board, one of the great things about this game is the box size. I prefer it to regular Catan, I never really warmed to the trading mechanic (& consequently the table talk related to it) in regular Catan. Now that we are relegated almost exclusively to 2 players in our games, all the more reason to prefer this one. We've had it for several years now & whenever we play we just play the base game. I found our copy in the secondary market for well under $20, another reason to like it:) Maybe we will try the expansions next time we play!

Is there a limit to how many troop cards you can deploy? Can you deploy more than 2 troop cards as a defender?

I know you mentioned it briefly, but do you think the small elements of luck make or break the game? I despise games that pretend to be “euro” or take 1.5 hours of my game evening, only to be decided by dice or cards.

When I heard of the concept of this game I thought it was hilarious, it reminds me of apocalyptic comedy movies where everything is chaos and people are freaking out as **** hits the fan. I can't imagine why anyone would get pissed, whine, or be upset because this game is short, inexpensive, and a meme lol, good review

I believe i spotted a minor rules error. In HUNTING phase 2, all players complete movement, then in phase 3 all players do an action. It probably doesn't matter that much, but a player's movement could be influenced depending on the results of a search by the previous player.

I realize it's been a while since you've made content for this channel, but can we get another LfWC playthrough? You seem to have one of two LfWC playthrough videos on youtube, and the channel got the rules all sorts of wrong. Let's try to get one where Jack makes it to at least Night 4.

To answer your question, I beleve as long as you have the available to spend, you can take whatever action you want, but only once. Leftover points get lost.

Finishing the game with less winning points than the opponents makes no sense to me.

Oof, tough round for fenirob! You mentioned toward the end of the video that you were still just using 4 dice, and that's been driving me crazy to watch. I think you could have soaked one of the corruption draws by killing off Gandalf, and then you could have brought out Gandalf the White. Aragorn takes a little more effort to get out, but you might have been able to move him down south fairly quickly, especially since Evil Jeff was slow to attack in Gondor. It definitely hurt that you kept getting revealed. Every reveal 'wastes' another character die to hide you again. So when you get revealed more often than the statistical mean, that puts you in a hole - especially with only 4 dice! Also, getting Evil Jeff down to 1 minion left in Dol Goldur, and then he puts two more units back in?? Argh. So frustrating. If you could have grabbed D.G., that might have opened up a path to victory by points. I'll watch video 3 soon to see if the Fellowship can turn the tides!

Never would’ve thought of doing this co-op against AI. Such a great idea.

I played against the same monsters with 2 players and lost. Terror level was reached. I was able to kill the Yeti and complete the Sphinx's grid, but I was nowhere near fulfilling its defeat condition (step 2). Pretty hard. I'll try with 3 heroes next and see if there's any difference.
