Another game I was ignoring because I thought it would not work at 2p. Another game I bought to play at 2p with my Dad :) Yes, it is random, swingy but still a lot of fun with come-from-behind last minute wins. Thanks for the video :)

I got into modern board games with TTR and my Dad and I collected almost all the maps before growing out of it. After playing more games, I just felt TTR was too simple for how long it was. These new TTR city boxes are just the perfect length for a quick game. I liked London the most of all the cities and will be picking it up after watching your playthrough. Thanks for the video :)

@fenirob 22 сағат бұрын
@@adityarajivratnam6863 I agree about the length being much more palatable for the mechanics. Thanks for commenting (as you often do) and I hope you have fun with shorter TTR.

That was awesome! Super clear, step by step 🎯I love that I can hear where you were confused about the card wording and got immediately corrected ✅ In particular, because the score would technically be the same with both interpretations. Knowing rules is one thing. Understanding scoring intuitively, fluently, is another. Your video is like seating with an experienced player, just to hear them go over scoring, to avoid beginner’s mistakes. I appreciate it. Sorry you got interrupted! Can a 3rd party play a tactics card (other than troops) to affect either 2 players engaged in war ? For an example player 1 declares war on player 2. They both place troop cards during the troops deployment phase. Then player 3 decides to play an artillery card and targets player 2 destroying two troop cards Did player 3 make a valid move ?

I know am annoying but this is the strategy I usually follow so you can maybe play easier: Russia: hold the line buying infantry only, help china to defend nd try to get west russia. Germany: concentrate to capture moskow buying tanks or hold the line and buy transports woth defensive ships to attack uk. Uk: try taking france or hold the line and use india to attack japan. Japan: invade china and try to attack moskow or concentrate in india and defend yourself against usa. Usa: support uk defensively and try to get tokio.

idk, I'm confused....it looks to me like you each were playing a band of cards large enough to surpass the total number of control markers in a region (w/o regard to color). Reading the rules, I think you were playing it wrong....I also checked Rodney's rules video that you linked & in that video he confirmed what is stated in the rule book (top of page 7): "If your Band is large enough, place one of your Control markers on the Kingdom that matches the color of your Leader card. You can only place a Control marker if there are currently fewer Control markers of YOUR color in that Kingdom than the number of cards in the Band you just played..." (note emphasis on YOUR). Long story short....I think you were making it a little harder on yourselves than you needed to. Looks like a great game though, but a little expensive in the secondary market right now :( There is an updated version but comparing the two editions, I prefer the artwork & game board of the original.

Probly because it's always a 2 player group for us :) Anyway thumbs up on another good video!
