I found you via Chris Lucas’ channel when she got her machine. I was wondering if there is a Juki or Jack equivalent to it? If so, what are there names?
@ozcommercialsewingmachines10 күн бұрын
Hi! Are you in Australia? There is a JACK machine that is similar and I'm sure there would be a JUKI machine as well. The main thing is that the JACK is quite a bit more expensive and the JUKI is even more. Can I ask please why you are asking about these two brands which are both made in China as well? We have found that our product is a superior product being that it is twin stepping motor operated instead of single on the JACK and our PS-1933B has a few more features like the 1/2 and 1/4 stitch buttons.
@SewFelicia10 күн бұрын
@ thanks. I sure am in Aus. I’ve heard of both Jack and Juki, but only heard of this machine via Chris Lucas’ channel when she got hers. I loved the sound of the features on it, but I’ve not heard of it before and it’s red. I prefer blue. Pretty funny reason to look at something less red but with blue I know 😂 I wondered if I could find a machine like that but in blue.
@ozcommercialsewingmachines9 күн бұрын
No worries, the machine Chris Lucas has is also available in blue but we don't keep the blue in stock. We also have the top of the range machine with all the same features as the PS-1933B but it has a very easy to use touch screen instead of buttons, this is our PS-1933A which only comes in blue :) I have one of these machines about to land.

@ozcommercialsewingmachinesАй бұрын
A possible cause is a bent needle plate. If you have had a needle strike then I'd have a look at this.

Hi thank you for sharing this. I recently bought a TY-1300DD-1 industrial machine and I’m struggling with reading the manual it’s not the easiest! Please could you help me to explain what the motor box exactly does and the tension parts of this machine . i’m in desperate need of help! thank you so much
@ozcommercialsewingmachinesАй бұрын
The motor on this is a. direct drive servo motor which allows you to adjust the speed and needle position. There is a pre-tension which is the little set of tension disks at the top of the thread path then there is the main tension assembly down on the face of the machine. The pre-tension does not need very much tension at all, you do all your setting with the main tension assembly. The main tension assembly adjusts the needle thread tension (the bottom of the fabric). If you have your bobbin thread tensions et correctly and you see thread looping on the bottom then you tighten the top tension but if you see looping on the top you loosen the top tension. Hope this helps.

@ozcommercialsewingmachinesАй бұрын
If the screw threads are stripped out then you need to replace the needle bar as from memory these are a one piece unit with the needle clamp system.

@ozcommercialsewingmachines2 ай бұрын
Yes, you can slow the speed on the back tacks but I don't have a copy of the parameter list anymore so I don't know what the numbers are sorry. If you got a paper sheet with the parameters on you can find the right numbers and bring them down to a respectable speed.

You need to get a grease that is suitable for gears on an industrial sewing machine to put in there.

Why does walking foot leaves mark in leather? Can you change that with seting machine? It will ruin leater if it stich like that.
@ozcommercialsewingmachines3 ай бұрын
Walking foot will always leave marks because of downward pressure from pressure regulator. You will need to use a flat bottom foot to lessen the impact.

Can you use regular sewing machine oil for every moving part or do you need thicker oil for some parts?
@ozcommercialsewingmachines3 ай бұрын
Regular sewing machine oil or white machine oil is fine. The jack machines use grease to lubricate the top of the walking foot mechanism, your machine would have come with a syringe of it.

Exactly what I was looking for to change mine (H5). Just a question if that's ok? When pressing heel back on the foot pedal to lift the foot, sometimes not every time my machine will do a super fast and scary back and fore starting stitch. It's very random so any advice very much appreciated. Do you also have a video on the domestic settings you put on your machines at all please? Thank you once again for an invaluable video tutorial.
@ozcommercialsewingmachines3 ай бұрын
Your machine will do the end tack if you hadn't done it previously as it is programmed to do that. Sorry but we can't give you our settings as we no longer sell the JACK brand and I don't have the parameter list for the machines. They do change them occasionally as well.

If a lockstitch machine is creating a stitch then it has a bobbin in place. If there is no bobbin then no stitch.
