In my head canon Ray was a member of the Special Operations Engineer Regiment which is why he prefers to use a shovel as a melee weapon and also makes the killing of these monsters a deeply personal act for a Sapper like Ray.

True story i downloaded this tv show just from watching the shorts on KZbin i needed to know what the fuck this show was about. And know i stoped half way in season 3 because i know if i finish it i won't be able to watch it again.😢
