So cool. I have Field’s pachanoi and a couple hybrids of Fields trichocereus, absolutely stunning plants. Going to try to do some more research into the expeditions. Makes me want to do something similar, legitimately of course.

You have a spectacular collection and congratulations on finding your passion. I was struck by your initial comment, I suggested to a friend who lives in San Diego to try a succulent garden, he said to me they just don't interest me buddy, he has a Rose garden..... I'm in Minnesota and grow hardy Cactus and have indoors in the winter potted plants, love watching them grow and mature and break in half and then starting over.

Is this synonymous with Parodia erinacea? I know Wigginsia was reclassified into Parodia, but is the species the same? The plant and flower look identical to a P. erinacea that I acquired. It was originally mislabeled as Discocactus.

I believe they reclassified this as Parodia sellowii. P. erinacea is very similar. I wonder what the difference is?

What size will Pasacana flower? I have a chunker around 20 inches.

I wouldn’t expect most pasacana’s to flower before 1.5 to 2 meters tall. Some of these hybrids that Jim has grown did flower at smaller sizes
