28:17 he was a bit mean ☹️! Sir Nigel wasn’t that close so it wouldn’t have caused harm to anyone! But Great shots! & a Happy New year 🤩!!!

53:24 - Here in this clip, I can see from the driving wheels that Tangmere is going 82.1 mph found from an RPM Calculator. That is cool, noted that they're only allowed to go 75, it might be a test to see if preserved engines can go just a bit faster to keep up with modern trains.

Excellent footage Thomas. I know WCRC get a lot of flack, but credit where it's due they pulled out all stops to ensure things kept running. Clan Line & Blue Peter returning to the mainline are my 2024 highlights, looking forward to 2025. 😊

What’s the point in traveling in air conditioned stock, you’re cocooned away from everything, I never really was a fan of air conditioned rolling stock, blank looking windows, shut away from the whole experience!!!

Another cracking video - you certainly managed to cover some ground with all those locations. Thanks for sharing. Excuse me asking, but would you mind saying which video tripod head you use ? I was further up the hill than you at Bapton and I found that my SIRUI VA5X head was sticking quite badly whilst panning in the cold weather. Many thanks, Nigel.

The engine in the film "Polar Express" was a Lima "Super Power" Berkshire 2-8-4, difficult to fit the British structure gauge, so I suppose this is a reasonable compromise ! Seriously, some interesting locations there, good work. 👍
