Blink-182 would be good if I weren’t so annoyed by the singers voices. Billie has just the right amount of nasaly and teenager-ey sound, and the blink 182 guy (idk him) is just flat out annoying to me. Good guitar and drums tho.

Since when did a drug bust become more important than children suffering in the eyes of the police? This is something that needs to be remedied like immediately people should be absolutely outraged and demand that we’re paying our police force to do something they should be more focused on child suffering than on drugs drugs are not nothing in comparison to a child suffering.

I like blink more because they just have a care free happy attitude to their music. I like every single song from their first album Cheshire cat to Self titled. I connect more to blink and their lyrics and vibe. Green days great too though. Both Tom Delonge and Billie Armstrong are great songwriters but Id have to side with blink.

Alot of times it's just a social contagion/ trend for the weird kids that gets the blame but when it's just music it can only be so destructive really, but NOW ,the trend / social contagion for the kids who would've been goth or emo is queer theory and being trans which has VERY REAL CONSEQUENCES and kids who aren't trans and kids who are are NOT GETTING THE HELP THEY NEED because they all getting the same cookie cutter diagnosis and treatment and if they mention gender at all, there will be ZERO PUSHBACK from any doctors or mental health professionals because they're all afraid of losing their license. It's doing a disservice to trans kids and depressed and autistic non trans kids who are getting put on a conveyor belt of medications and procedures that alot of them don't need and will not be helped by,which just so happens to be VERY PROFITABLE FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE and also creates lifelong patients and dependents. And it will keep them wholly distracted from Anything ELSE THATS HAPPENING THAT WE SHOULD ALL BE PUSHING BACK AGAINST,because they're so wrapped up with identity labels and gender that they can't think about anything without it going through the lens of trans first vulnerable people are being manipulated and used and abused for profit and to help shape society into something that will be WAY WORSE for all of us

There's so much wrong with this video. First off, the danger days album "only" sold 1 million. As if that's bad. Many bands struggle to sell anywhere near that there entire career! Even if parade sold 4 million that's not a mark against them. Linkin Park's first album sold 24 mil, there next one sold 12. Such failures! Second, saying making music wasn't fun anymore implies AS A BAND. They might have had creative differences. That doesn't mean they stop making music entirely. His solo album sounds nothing like MCR. Come on. This is just lazy writing on your part.

Killjoys was really good. People don’t like it because it’s “not emo enough” Nanana is amazing! It reminds me of Guns and Roses and other classic rock bands. People need to learn how to accepts things they don’t like.

8:56 you say frank had a solo project that never took off???? frank had/has an enormous solo discography- more music than mcr ever made. and frank iero has a massive following of people that love HIS music. so just for anyone else watching: frank is a prolific musician and songwriter- no mcr required. off the top of my head, frank has 6 incredible varied albums. so his career did in fact "take off"/materialize for what it's worth

Cool video. Blink is awesome and have a lot of great songs, but it's definitely no contest here - Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Green Day are on the elite tier. Without the success of Dookie, you don't get the success of Enema. With that said, it goes to show that with all the tumultuous times Blink have had, it's no wonder that OMT has had such an epic comeback and much bigger than Green Day's (although they didn't have far to reach after the failure of FOA). Which is totally fine, despite Saviors having some of their best songs ever (Dilemma is freaking awesome).

Well I'd argue that while Frank's solo bands didn't blow up, he was still the most successful member solo. And plenty of people went to see him on tour.

Lmao, they literally never fell. They disbanded, and then came back with a show that sold out in like 5 minutes. Every show they have played since the reunion has been sold out. They actually became bigger as time went on. No clue what you’re talking about mate

Bro, you can't do the story and act like you have any type of real knowledge of the band and then botch the name of the new release, calling it The Foundation Decay. It's called The Foundations of Decay. It's close, but it wasn't quite as bad as a contributor on the latest Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary who said, Skynyrd has done 6 albums and 80 - 90% of those songs were top tier. He then, almost in the same breath announced that one of the great ones was Gimme Two Steps instead of Gimme Three Steps. pfft

Yeah MCR never fell, coming from a current 15 from whatever generation I’m in, MCR is still incredibly popular, just as much as Radiohead or Deftones or Weezer. Also I don’t keep incredibly up to date with them, aren’t they working on that 5th album currently?

You skipped right over Conventional Weapons! It was supposed to be the 4th album but Gerard wasn't feeling it after they recorded the whole thing and scrapped it. Went out into the desert and decided to write a comic book concept album instead and started over. Bob was not into the new format so he left the band. So technically the albums should have been Bullets, 3 Cheers, Black Parade, Conventional Weapons, Danger Days, Paper Kingdom. Later Gerard said he only ever planned for 3 albums and thought MCR would be done after black parade, so that kind of explains how all over the place they were after that album. I hope Gerard learned something from Andy when he helped him with his solo Andy Black record. Andy is sober and doing well in BVB, it's possible to be both! You can do it!
