Recently revisiting Green Day's catalog & realized "Deadbeat Holiday" & "Static Age" are EXTREMELY similar in sound; Mark has also admitted that he was trying to play "J.A.R." (Green Day) backwards & came up with intro for "What's My Age Again"

Cool video. Blink is awesome and have a lot of great songs, but it's definitely no contest here - Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Green Day are on the elite tier. Without the success of Dookie, you don't get the success of Enema. With that said, it goes to show that with all the tumultuous times Blink have had, it's no wonder that OMT has had such an epic comeback and much bigger than Green Day's (although they didn't have far to reach after the failure of FOA). Which is totally fine, despite Saviors having some of their best songs ever (Dilemma is freaking awesome).

I like Blink don’t get me wrong, but in my opinion this isn’t much of a debate. Billie Joe is such good songwriter. Not that Tom and Mark don’t have some good lyrics. I just take Green Day much more seriously in general. As a guitar player myself I think Billie is better than Tom. Tom has some cool leads, but they are not really difficult at all to play. Billie has some legitimate solos and songs with chords not just power chords. Mike is easily a better bassist than Mark. Billie is a better vocalist than Mark or Tom. Travis is probably more talented than Tre, but Tre fits Green Day so well whereas sometimes Travis can really standout. I will say Father of All is legitimately bad outside of a few songs

I like blink more because they just have a care free happy attitude to their music. I like every single song from their first album Cheshire cat to Self titled. I connect more to blink and their lyrics and vibe. Green days great too though. Both Tom Delonge and Billie Armstrong are great songwriters but Id have to side with blink.

I have nothing against blink 182 and Green Day certainly had their low point *cough cough* (father of all) but I’ve always been able to connect to Green Day on a much more emotional level PS do you think you might cover the offspring

Boxcar never sold 7mill albums 😂 They sold about 500k. Green day have sold 75 mill albums, not 90. And, Mark never left blink!

Blink-182 would be good if I weren’t so annoyed by the singers voices. Billie has just the right amount of nasaly and teenager-ey sound, and the blink 182 guy (idk him) is just flat out annoying to me. Good guitar and drums tho.
