If two wires, red to 12V+, black to 12V-. If only one wire, it should be power and just ground to the metal base. Fortunately with these lights, if you cause a short, and remove it quickly, you won't typically cause damage to the light.

@@JohCraLights there is 1 wire coming out of the bottom. Using a DC Converter 110v to 12v, could I add a 12v- wire connect to the metal base housing? I'm trying to keep it as neat as possible. TY

Assuming wiring is typical then yes, that should work. There's likely a place you could anchor a ring terminal to inside the light (often where the motor and or bulb ground wires are connected). I sold the above light so I can't look to see how it was wired.

4000W is just the model number of the Roto Ray. Bulbs are very bright but they aren't especially high powered.

I don't have it set up currently but there is a siren amplifier that all the wiring goes through. I get a lot of questions about it so I may create a video in the future. I just had shoulder surgery, though, so it will be some time before I can do it.

Not sure for either question. Rotators can be seen in pics. I think the motor is in the middle section.

Used there isn't a set market simply bc not many come up for sale. I could see anything from $500 to $2000... i.e. a big range. New I think they list for $5k but cost closer to $3.5k. Not sure on that though.

I've found bars in all the places you find used stuff. Just a matter of hunting, patience, and good timing. Cost varies. Generally, for vintage stuff, blue costs more than red because there's higher demand for it and less of it (folks want blue but, historically, only police used blue while all emergency services used red).
