Very nice visuals but I found the video very distracting at times, especially with the loud sound effects, like at 4:44 and 5:25. It makes it hard to follow with frequent sound effects drowning out your advice.

Yeaa im not super experienced with audio stuff since this is my i think 4th ish or 3rd ish video ive ever edited, but the goal is to talk to some audio designer friends to help give me some tips and tricks on how to balance properly :D Im very happy you enjoyed the visuals though!

Thank you! Great video Maybe it is because of the busted mic idk, but the sounds effects, as nice as they are, are too loud compared to your voice imo, it's difficult (for me at least) to listen to Cheers! Edit: oh the timelapse at the end is nice too!

Hey so funny story my mic is busted in this video, because of course it is, so it made me sound like a middle aged man which is wonderful, thankfully it should be fixed in later ones!

Love your video but I think you should use a different font next time. The letter "I" for example looks like a number "1" and perhaps less flashy effects. 😅

love this video series, keep it up! ❤ i've been struggling w/ char design especially, so this will be very helpful for me i left some minor feedback in the replies if you wish to read it, but you don't need to c:
@terrapixels17 күн бұрын
• i like the font a lot, but the diacritcal marks make it harder for me to read the text quickly • the sfxs should be quieter and/or less abundant. your voice is much clearer than it was in the past, but i still have a hard time hearing it in some parts bc of the loud sfxs • less flashing lights would be great imo • you misspelled announcements on the discord server btw again, these are rly minor nitpicks for an otherwise great video tho ❤

This coloring technique reminds me a lot of when Game Boy Color came out. Layers were colorized with simple pallets to convert all the old greyscale games.
@artmanoil24 күн бұрын
its very useful! in newer games you can do something called colour cycling with it too, which is sorta the same principle but works off of it, its sorta a tiny tidbit of random game stuff thats incredibly interesting to research :D

@artmanoil26 күн бұрын
I was thinking about it but ultimately im probably not going to make a 3d video until im around finished covering the main meat and potatoes of pixelart, alot of stuff like animations and more in depth colours and proper clustering are vital to the whole learning pixelart thing i feel so ill probably do those THEN move onto the fancy schmantzy stuff
