In İstanbul dont use taxis if you dont have to. Taxi in İstanbul isnt safe. Even for locals. Out of İstanbul there is no danger but in İstanbul its a problem. İnvestigate public transport with Istanbul card. Its safer, cheaper and faster.

the ticket from the airport is a separate line that needs it's own ticket. so as the express line to the daxing airport. but all other lines use the same ticket. you just need to find your final destination stop. so far as I know only when change from line 1 to line 16 in Muxudi you need to exit the station and buy ticket again.

Yes, the airport express train requires a separate ticket but I was not able to travel on one ticket for the subway and meanwhile change the lanes. Every time I had to purchase the ticket for the particular lane. Ones I forgot to buy and then I was not able to get out of the station. I had to make it up with the cashier and after that they let me go out.

@@mjtravel566 no day tickets in beijing. I would say most of the chinese city do not have. if your alipay works, you can scan in and out without buying ticket. but only one person can get in with one account

What app did you use to navigate around from point A to B. And do you know if apple map works? While using international roaming.

Hi. I did not use any app. I just had a subway map on my phone. But you can get the Alipay app on your phone and use it to purchase the tickets and pay also for other things while you are there. The app is very useful and they use it there a lot. It is a huge convenience. You just link it with your visa card and that's it. You must remember though to also have VPN otherwise your maps as well as other apps will not work.

@@jrp1002 Hi, you don't need to book in advance. You can purchase the ticket on the bus with the driver on the day of the trip.

Why taking the bus to Aksaray if you are going to SultanAhmet.. The last time in 2019 I took the bus from the airport directly to Sultanahmet Square. From there it was a just 8 mins walk to my hotel.. Is there any changes.

@@uddinbachun7970 As far as I know there were no direct buses to Sultanahmet from the airport and this was the fastest connection from the airport. Maybe now something has changed and there are more services. I have heard there is a metro now going to the centre of Istanbul which was not possible at the time I was doing this video.

There is a direct tram from nearby Yusufpasa. You need to walk a little to catch the tram. Just follow the steps in the video and you will make it.
