This is probably my favorite recording of this piece I’ve heard, which is hard to say because all who perform this piece are incredibly skilled musicians ❤️ also what mallets are those, and what marimba? I need to know because it sounds too nice

Well tuned drums, technically very demanding piece of music. Lacks a Bit of athmosphere for my taste due to the accumulation of fast and short Rolls , more Like a showpiece.
