Her legs are actually a reused mold from the 2011 Flower N Flutter fairy doll, and looking at her, it's clear she's paying homage to a lot fairy dolls from the past 🥹

I fell in love with her since the first time I saw her picture And I has been so lucky to find her recently, she is officially my favorite contemporary Barbie, objectively the BEST Millie I think she is meant to pay homage to the first Elina doll since she will officially release in 2025, which is the year of the 20th anniversary of the first Fairytopia movie See her on the shelf was so wonderful, a great come back to my childhood where my favorite Barbie dolls were just the fairies and mermaids from the Fairytopia line along with the movie princesses And about the molded tops argument… I understand why collectors dislike them, “You can’t redress the doll with different clothes” BUT… if a doll has been specifically designed to be a fairy or a mermaid, does she really need to be redressed with regular “human” clothes? I mean look at the Sparkle Fairies for example, they have fantasy hair with tinsel and unnatural glittery skin tones, why should you dress them with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans? And I think the same for mermaids, I understand that we all love The Little Mermaid with the idea of the transformation from tail to legs, but not all mermaids need it, some make sense to keep their fins permanently If they would bring back the Mermaid Fantasy and Magical Mermaid rubbery articulated tail many collectors would appreciate more the permanent tail Obviously sometimes would be great to have a mermaid with the removable tail made of the iconic pearly fabric from the 90s

I wish she has some articulation, not the bend and snap. The normal plastic articulation like barbie extra. And I think she has a molded on tortho, not painted on. I wish it was removebal. Just those two.❤

She looks lovelier and daintier after the restyling!

Wow!!! She turned out amazing!!! The blue outfit with the fur cuffs was my fav 🥰 A little tip for getting rid of those frizzy bits near the top of her head is boil washing before styling and it helps soooo much.

I think you have to boile wash the hair before styling to smooth it out from tips to end and then go for the styling. And if you think you need a second boile wash after the styling why not.

I cannot believe Mattel would choose polypropylene hair in their dolls like it was some sort of Mcdonalds Happy Meal. Such a shame because these dolls are absolutely fabulous.
