You can use ice cubes to change their hair color without getting them too wet. (Maybe an ice cube wrapped in a paper towel might even work?)

Oh you're right! I usually use a hair drier for dolls that change with warm water, so this could work with an ice cube to avoid dipping her in the water! Thank you for the tip! 😊

I bought one of these today. After getting the silver paint off, I attached her tail. One problem, the bottom of the tail may not have been totally dry despite dabbing it with paper towels. When I attached the tail, I tried to remove it...but I can't. Is there a way to remove the tail? Also, is the doll supposed to leak some of the silvery paint along her sides? Any answers would be appreicated. Thank you.

Hello! Sorry I didn't see it earlier. I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue. I believe they dry out quite easily, but I've never tried to detach the fin. Maybe you could try blowing it with a hair dryer from a distance for a few seconds and then pulling the fin firmly from the base to release it. And when you mention leaks what do you mean? From inside the doll? I haven't come across that. I generally make sure to shake them well though to get rid of any water inside. If it's just paint residue on the sides of the doll you can wipe it off with a cloth dampened with warm water! I hope that helps! Thank you for watching! 😊
