The only game I can think of that is really Aussie, is a game called Dinkum. In super short: it's Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon, but Australian. It's being in early access for more than 2 years now, but from what I've seen and heard and read from others, it's really good. Of course that kind of game might not be your cup of tea, but it fits being (supposedly) Aussie to its core.

Great suggestion, I'll make a note of it

I loved this game but I never once thought of it as horror. Is this a common opinion?
@harveybodega2 ай бұрын
'Horror' is a really broad genre, in my opinion. Indika isn't downright scary at any point, so maybe more accurately a linear narrative-driven adventure with dark themes?

god i totally forgot abt this game, i remember my cousin used to have a copy for gamecube waaaaaaaay back in the day. every now and then, he would ask me for help w/ something and the only thing i remember is getting lost and MAD lmao. looking back, i'm p sure that this game + Steve Irwin are responsible for my fixation on the land down under. rlly enjoyed this blast from the past

The duck story is, in fact, a real news story. The cruise ship cheevo is based on the fact that cruise ships tend to be exactly the same each time.

I'd really like to know the thought process when coming to select the games on this channel. I imagine it's probably as entertaining as the video are.

Hey I've just discovered your channel and you've earned yourself a new sub. I do have one question tho, my mate and I have recently started our own channel and we were wondering of you'd be ok if we did a sort of react video to your Aussie august games because we are both Aussies and would really like to discuss some of the stuff you talk about. Thanks for the content and keep up the great work.

My big complaint is that no one really is condemning the murderer like they should. They wanted to have an affair and they killed him and that’s okay??? What??
@sladewilson33623 ай бұрын
Right, its weird af that Beth literally acts like if they did murder the husband, that it would be a-okay, and the game even gives you a dialogue option to agree with her is insane. But that being said, they didn't kill the husband, if you open the safe in 509 (H and M's room), it turns out the guest staying in 504 was denied insurance money for his house that burned down by Hector, and killed him in retaliation.

Played this game when I was about 5 or 6 and as a very dumb child, its kinda a testament to the game I managed to beat it at all. However as a dinosaur fascinated kid, this was one of the best games ever. And the main theme is still one of my favorite game soundtracks.

But you ARE going to review Hentai saves Australia right? Jokes aside, you do good work, well deserved subscribe.

G'day. Thanks for trying out Straya and thanks for the review. A Tasmania update is planned which will include searching for the Tasmanian Tiger, but it's a ways off just yet. Thanks again 🍺
Yeah, you also don't want to visit a country that pretends to be welcoming but treated all non-Australians as disease carriers during COVID. A country that pretends to be for the working class...while being insecure about being judged as working class. Trust me: the concept of Australia is far better than Australia actually is.

Lost Eden has been available on GoG since at least 2017. Despite frequenting the site daily and often seeing the game while browsing I've never really bothered looking at what I assumed was some "dinosaurs/dragon 90s pc RPG"...which now that I typed that makes me wonder even more why I never was curious. Anyway. Glad to have watched that, probably gonna grab it soon.
