for me GZdoom are the goat and there is so many options to enjoy these titles why not just instead of arguing whick peens are bigger we just explore more options for our favorite games idk people are so soft these days :(

Doom plays great with mouse look, autoaim off, and jumping. I actually use it as an Aim Trainer for some other games since it is so fast paced. However you need to ramp up the difficulty to a high level. I can appreciate the OG controls, you can play Doom with a SNES controller 😂 (which I do on my phone at lunch) It just depends on my mood, each gives a different experience. I do love me some rocket jumping though. I don't know why these debates get so ridiculously heated. Reddit is mainly an echo chamber.
