Thank you soooooo much I have an Opel Astra F second phase that is exactly the same as your model This car is a gift from my grandfather that passed away 2 years ago and i really wanted to started cleaning and making it good as new i couldn't find a video about how to replace the gaiters cover and handbrake cover and was scared to screw things up thank you a lot for your video !

Mine is beige, what color is yours ? I have a question also, how did you get the protection off in front of the handbrake to get to this screw ?

hi i have read that there is a sealing on your drain plug that you need to change is that right?

Hi yes there will be a washer on the drain plug/bolt that should be replaced with a new one each oil change. This will avoid any oil leaking from that area 👍

Not a real mk3 gsi, it’s a tarted up sport. Real gsi red top 92k in midnight blue. Wanted one back in the day and a cavalier turbo but never got the chance..££££.

It certainly is a real gsi, says so on the log book. Extremely rare phase 2 gsi, plenty of phase 1 and sports about only 10 of these licensed on the road

Same problem. 320D (M47). But I get no com with the ECU when I search for fault codes. All fuses & relays are good. Car still doesn't start.

Had a H reg GTE 16V, yes it went well over the speed limit if needed. However they were prone to Porous heads and oil seeped in the water. I drove all the Vauxhalls when working there, my favourite was the Vectra GSI Touring car edition.

I had the 1984 Mk1 1.6 SR Black with the Recaro interior, loved that car. Sold it buy my a Peugeot 205 GTI, now that was fun.

an old scouse friend had the MKII GTe 16v, it was a ringer, red behind all the door rubbers but painted in metallic blue, Mickey ragged the shyt out of it, once, 3 of us were on our way back from a club in St, Helens on the M62, his digital dashboard in MPH read 147mph, don`t know what happened to that car, it was great.

I was never really a Vauxhall fan back in the day but I ended up buying a Mk3 GSi, mainly because I got it for a decent price It was the 150bhp model but shortly after I sold it on I bought an Ecotec one. Actually preferred the Ecotec version. It got the power down a whole lot better than the XE

Get raw tar and glue remover put about 4mm in scooshy bottle top rest up with cold water spray it on it.ll take it off

I have that message to repleace fog light... However sometimes it lights! o.O So light bulb is actually not broken. I am confused if I should replace it anyway.

It could be a loose connection with the wiring/connector. As the bulbs are not very expensive it may be worth replacing them and checking for damage to the wiring/cleaning the connectors at the same time. Also check your other lights as some models will show that dash symbol if a side light or headlight is blown.
