This knife is literally a copy of old bayonets........ It's perfect not because glock made it but because its a fucking knife and the tech peaked 120 years ago. I suggest doing more research and thinking before you decide to make any other content.

I have an 81 as well. What you forgot to mention is how absurdly cheap they are, going for about $35. I had no clue it wasn’t full tang, the build quality is just so amazing.

They use less iron in the mix and more steel or the overall process of how they are made now is kinda shitty to of how they used to be made but like i said i think its less iron in the mix and more steel

You can special order different blades from buck for the 110 especially when having a blade replaced. They have a 1095 one that’s nice

Glock made a knife? Didnt think polymer bladed knives with unrefined ergos and a burry seam on the handle would be desirable or effective. GO GLOCK!

Garbage, I know how to sharp a knife but is not a matter of technique Glock knifes dont hold the edge. Maybe is good for stabbing in combat but for use as a knife is a cheap knife, garbage. In my opinion a Morakniv (Mora) knife is half of the price of the Glock and 100 times a better knife.

The only way someone should consider choosing this is if they ditch the polymer and replace it with compressed stacked leather ... Ever get blood on a plastic grip handle under serious use ?

Modern knives tend to be made of a common alloy of stainless steel that is easy to sharpen and is rust resistant, but not usually dense enough to hold an edge for long or take blunt force trauma. This is why knives made from high carbon steels with lower rust resistant elements tend to be pretty good at holding an edge while a little harder to sharpen, but worth the care and price given. I would imagine the older knives were made from these sorts of steels that were made more for function than beauty. But I’m sure a bigger knife nerd then I knows this is greater detail.

You should learn how they did it, d*****t. (1) An untempered machine screw; (2) place the blade between a pair of threads; (3) tap the blade's spine gently, like with a stick, until you cut all of the way through. What steel were they using at that time? Ask Buck. When you know whst you're doing put out another educational video.

In the old days, the test for Polish cavalry swords was repeated cutting of a 5mm steel rod without damage. These days we have fancy electronics but as we see here, mechanically stuff seems not a patch on what they were.
