Brian, This was so well done. Many thanks. This song, Old Note from Lisa O’Neill has been haunting me in a good way since I first viewed it on KZbin about a week ago.

If you told me you were from Ireland, I'd of never questioned it, do to your style. When I was younger, I was in drum Corp and the Madison scouts was one of our biggest competitors. Back then it was an all Male core, but it seems that has changed, when i seen them this year. God bless you. my musical friend

See! I knew it! Looked up some more of your videos, it's a cover, but it's in your style, you can play that guitar, better than i can walk lol. Amazing unique raspy vocals. I'm just a trumpet player, but i can definitely tell when I hear a very talented musician.

Such a great rendition of this song. This is such a great song, and your intro and guitar playing is so spot on and your voice is very smooth. I love it. Thanks for sharing!

One of the greatest songs ever written, no doubt, and one of my favourites. When you started singing I wasn't sold on it, probably too used to Johnny's voice or even U2's version. But this is growing on me, great cover. 👍

You should try to sing some Jim Croce songs or maybe Gordon Lightfoot Talking In Your Sleep? You have a really good voice :)

People took decades for it to dawn on them that Natalie Merchant is a song writing genius. Her 2023 album is outstanding.

Jesus what an absolute banger of a song. You know a song is good when you feel you've received a piece of a person's soul through the song. Thanks for sharing, from one brother in Christ to another , help is on the way my friend. The Psalmist wrote "why have you forsaken me" despite the Bible saying "he will never leave us nor forsake us." It's important to be honest which this song does an beautiful job doing, like the Psalmist does, but also cheer your soul cause God is on the way. There's a song by TobyMac that's called "Help is on the way(Maybe Midnight)". How poetic that your song come at this time almost Midnight here in the east coast. I'm not going to lie I felt the shadows of my past were going to win tonight but after hearing your song its renewed my faith in God, cause your managed to turn your hurt into a beautiful soul-pounding song. Don't worry friend, if I can feel a portion of your hurt through this song then our Lord and Savior can feel alongside you the pain that's in your heart and he's weeping beside you. May God bless you with strength in the inner man by his spirit each day(Ephesians 3:16)
