I recommend something from the Wacom One line: www.wacom.com/en-us/products/pen-displays/wacom-one. Depending on your budget and preference, choose the display or tablet style. I think the small size in either option will meet your needs.

Can you just have them record mote audio as an answer? Or do you have to give audio as a question to get mote as an answer?

They can record a Mote audio response anytime you give space for a text response so long as they have the Mote extension installed! No need for you to give audio as a question for them to be able to respond with audio.

After attempting (c) at the 5:00 Minute mark myself, I noticed that there was an error. (3r - 11)^2 = 9r^2 - 66r + 121 DOES NOT EQUAL 9r^2 - 66p +121 ^ Which is what is shown in the video.
@StaceyRoshan

They should indeed all be r's in that example! The p in the original question is a typo that I obviously overlooked. Thank you for pointing it out :) Question should read: 9r^2 - 66r + 121

Thank you so much for this video , I saw in the comments that this did not work out, and you bought another one, one of the reasons why I was gravitating towards this one is the blue light, as I struggle with hormonal acne do you have another brand you would recommend?
@StaceyRoshan
@StaceyRoshan 2 ай бұрын
I absolutely wanted the blue light as well. I ended up purchasing an extremely expensive LightStim Elipsa. I’ve never made such a large purchase, but that’s the brand my derm uses, and my skin has been bothering me a lot with various issues so I sprung for it. I am happy to share more about that options if you’re interested. It’s been fantastic so far. I do think the TheraFace Mask was calming my skin as well, though, and still recommend it if you don’t think the items I mentioned in my other comment would bother you. I purchased from Nordstrom and returned to a store near me within a month with no hassle.

How did this work out for you? Asking for a friend.
@StaceyRoshan
@StaceyRoshan 2 ай бұрын
Sadly, it didn’t work well for me, but I still think it’s a great option (which is why I’d didn’t delete this video). It is heavy, and I have some neck issues, so it aggravated that unless I laid down. As well, the strap is rather large, so I had to put it on the tightest setting, but I’m also an undersized person 😊 Finally, I’m prone to vertigo so I hated the massage feeling on my head; it made me feel dizzy. All of these things are personal problems and probably not super common. The mask itself was the most powerful one I’ve used and felt really well made. There are a lot of lights and it’s definitely very bright, but the built-in eye protection makes it comfortable to wear even if you’re light-sensitive. The only other negative I would mention is that I’m not sure the light penetrates where the massage pads are, and those are places around the eye and forehead area. I hope that’s helpful!

@@StaceyRoshan thanks a lot for your detailed explanation. Helps a lot. Been thinking about getting this as a gift, but wasn’t sure. I’m also curious about any other potential side effects on skin from using this. I’ll dig a bit more. Did you return yours or you kept it and might use it again one day? Thank you.
@StaceyRoshan
@StaceyRoshan 2 ай бұрын
@@more-harm I returned mine and bought an even more expensive option (one that my dermatologist uses). I have had great results from red & blue light, personally, over the past 10 years or so. These devices are so much better than the home device I used when I started (I also was seeing my derm for some skin issues, and their equipment made the most difference). I have not experienced any side effects and in all the research I've done, I really believe it's very safe. The only thing I know you need to be careful about is if you are prone to melasma (heat can trigger that with the infrared light in particular) and some people say darker skin tones can experience hyperpigmentation with blue light. Note that my skin (olive complexion) is very prone to hyperpigmentation, but I've had no trouble with LED lights.

@@ktesi8383 I ended up purchasing the LightStim Elipsa. It's quite an investment, but it has been absolutely amazing! In addition to the wavelengths I described in this video, the Elipsa has amber lights to promote wound healing. My skin tone has evened out so much since I started using it about 6 weeks ago. I was so nervous about making such a large investment, but it has been such a great device for me.

I just hit the tab key on my keyboard to make subtasks. If you're on iOS, there is also an indent button on the toolbar right above the keyboard (4th icon; if you long press the indent, you'll see an outdent option). To add priority, just use a "!" in front of the task, ie: * !!! This is a priority 1 task * !! This is a priority 2 task * ! This is a priority 3 task Hope that helps!

If you are further away from the mic, the Shure MV7 is much better than Elgato Wave 3. However if you are speaking up closeup the Elgato Wave 3 does a great job. You are right the Shure does the best job, but is bigger. Thanks for your testing. I am still leaning towards the Shure MV7. Perhaps later on, if I do enough videos, I might also add the Elgato for its small size and convenience. I do have a desk arm, so either would work for me.

Hello, I have an interview coming up and was going to use Pear Deck to show a live math problem being worked from ipad out so you just share your screen, turn on student-paced, sign in as a student and use your tablet? Can I just share my screen and work them out on the Google slides? Also, how do you edit the multiple-choice questions? Thank you so much!
@StaceyRoshan
@StaceyRoshan 5 ай бұрын
Hi John - Is your goal to have people interact with you in the Pear Deck, or are you just looking for annotation features? If you're just looking for a pen tool, Google Slides now has a pen available in presentation mode: workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2023/08/add-annotations-to-your-presentations.html. That would be easier. Regarding editing multiple choice questions, when you press the "choice" button in the Pear Deck sidebar, you'll see a pop up allowing you to edit the multiple choice options. Here is more info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4GtmKaXYsuho6Msi=86Lh7RQKBn8FNsX0&t=69 I hope that's helpful, and good luck with the interview!

Hello thank you for detailed message, yes I was looking for both annotation feature to present a math problem from scratch step by step to students but also able to eventually let students work at a student paced during Peardeck. Would you still sign in a student and present or do you think it’s much better to just present in google slides and then unlock student paced to see their work? Thank you so much!
@StaceyRoshan
@StaceyRoshan 5 ай бұрын
@@johnrivera2615 I'm a fan of your idea! That sounds great. In that case, I would personally sign in as a student to use the drawing tools so that you're using Pear Deck the whole time. It also "saves" all of your annotations (unlike the pen tool in Google Slides). So back to your original plan, I would be signed into Pear Deck as a student on the iPad, project Pear Deck in the classroom (either mirror the iPad screen to the projector or just have Pear Deck open on both the laptop and iPad if only able to project the laptop), and mark up the slides as I present. If you have time to discuss student work, then you can move back to Pear Deck's projector view on the teacher end. Good luck, again!
