Colin! I was honestly so happy to see you pop back into Discord recently. Wasn't I supposed to sway you away from wandering off into other apps 😂 In all seriousness, though, I'm glad my video filled in some gaps... though there's still much I have not wrapped my head around (ie: the newest update with editable filters and how to take full advantage of them, more intricate templates, and so many plug-ins!). In addition to a fabulous app, the developer (Eduard) is super responsive and truly listens to active members in the NotePlan Discord community. There's also a fantastic group of plugin developers if you happen to be savvy with coding.

I feel like I have so much to learn and improve with my use of plug-ins, so I feel uncomfortable sharing tbh 😊 I wish there were more ways to learn from those who use them more extensively! Stacey, excellent video! Thank you! One question…How do you determine what you track in Apple Reminders vs NotePlan?

That’s a good question and one that I don’t necessarily have an “answer” for. In general, I use my Reminders for specific admin things that I need that nagging reminder for anytime I touch my phone (ie: pay property taxes). I also use Reminders for quick entry from my Apple Watch. I have a specific NotePlan list in my Reminders that I can import using an Apple Shortcut. In general, I don’t use Reminders too much, but for things that are time sensitive or location based, that’s where I feel Reminders excel. I hope that’s helpful!
