Love your ideas, but unfortunately, my sewing area is very small so I have to go compact. Thanks

I liked your tour. Everything I saw was sensibly located, your sewing room was clean and organized. I did not see a bunch of papers stuffed here and there..., like to see how other sewing rooms are set up....I really am happy with my area. I make an effort every time to put items away each time I have to shut down the sewing machine. You make both rooms work:)

very nice you were quite ingenious combining two rooms into one, let alone doing such a fantastic job organizing it all. Bet you are glad it's done LOL. I found that when I force myself to put things away and organize my sewing project around my sewing machine before I leave it for the day it is so wonderful to come back and just pick up where I left off. It took me some mental training to do that one but I am glad I did especially when company drops by and want to see what I have been up to in that room LOL. Thank you for sharing loved it.

Your sewing room is so nice, and such a welcome change from some of the others that look like they are staged for a magazine shoot. Not that they aren't nice, but like yours I put mine together with things I already had on hand.

Hello ~ I'm a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing your craft room with us and using budget-friendly items. I'm a recycler/upcycle type of person and love to find quality items at yard sales, second hand stores, and even estate sales. You gave me some great ideas!

I love seeing homemade craft rooms. So much more realistic. I am a new quilter and love that you repurposed many items. Plus it shows more of our personality when we put the rooms together without using generic tables. thanks for the video.

I love the fake stain glass, Did you buy it online or from a store?
@ny2ks10 жыл бұрын
I bought this on Amazon. It was really reasonably priced and very easy to put up. It is not a permanent covering and can be taken off quickly.

Fantastic tour. Great reuse of what you already had. I agree it is fun and helpful to see what other people do to organize their creative spaces. Thanks so much for posting.

Fantastic video! Thank you. I do not quilt, but I do sew. I went to school for fashion design. I live in a very small studio apartment and have little space to work. I really am going to try to reorganize and redesign my living space to mainly focus on sewing :) Im so inspired by your video :)

Thank you so much!! I try to use furniture pieces that have a dual, or even multipurpose, use. It is fun trying to overcome the challenge of working in a smaller space.

I have not seen any sign of peeling or flaking. I will probably give her another coat of the top coat ("Mod Podge Hard Coat") in the middle of the summer just as a preventative measure. I have ridden the bike when it was over 100 degrees here in Kansas....the bike held up a lot better than I did! I do not live in a part of the country that is very humid however--at least it is not as humid as I remember it being in New York. I don't know how humidity would affect the Mod Podge.
@SilentHysteria1712 жыл бұрын
does it peel off at all? or get moist in heat?
@LouisvilleTorn8o12 жыл бұрын
Salina has one of the creepiest sounding systems of Thunderbolt sirens in the US. I believe you guies also have an STH-10 and a fiew other sirens as well.
@scotthopkins607012 жыл бұрын
the reason why the sirens cycle on and off like that is because they rotate slowy around in a clockwise formation

You did a great job! I love it. What a great idea. TFS!

Good luck! I hope you have as much fun as I did. I ended up using about 1 1/2 bottles of the Mod Podge Outdoor and a bit more than 1/2 bottle of the Mod Podge hard coat.

The Thunderbolt 1000T is a Duel Tone Siren formally used to Warn People back in the the cold war era 1950s to 1980s and now most commuinties like yours have kept thiers in service to warn of Tornado Warnings like in your video but these sirens main porpose back in the day was to warn people in the event of Nuclear Attacks from the Soviets but now most cities and communities are using them for Tornado Warnings now and every state in the US had a system of these sirens

Ah...thanks, I was wracking my brain trying to figure it out. The sound might have gotten softer if I turned my camera away from the street by accident. The sirens do cycle on and off like you heard on the footage but it might have been accentuated by the small microphone on the camera.
@wolfen21612 жыл бұрын
long story short it's the siren's you here.
