Hi Margaret im looking a new tripod and came across your tripod review, but as im 5'10 im thinking it miught be a bit to short for me, how do you find it when fully extended?

I love swimming even in the deep sea and I grew up in Scotland but I would never swim a loch; you are way braver than me.

Useful and nicely presented information. I also like the carbon fiber Tortoise tripod. Maintenance of our equipment is an often neglected task. I tend to leave my equipment far too long inside my carrying bags after an excursion, but this also serves as I remember to do my due diligence after the creative work as eneded. Will also look for some bags that I can have my cleaning equipment ready, not only for tripods of course. Keep up the good work and hope to see more good advice sharing.

Thanks for this easy to follow video, so I'll now get on with cleaning mine after a weekend on the Suffolk coast. As a matter of interest, at 32 seconds into the video I noticed the addition to the feet to stop the tripod sinking in to the sand when the tide is washing over them. Are they simply CDs or something more specific please?
