This is why I stopped playing Creed. Just went for other boxing games like TotF and Golden Gloves.

For me I definetly sweat more in synth riders and feel like Im working out s lot more because Im actively dancing with my whole body and usually use songs that are more quick movements (like electro swing or disco) and less flowy. I try to also make the beatsaber moves into dance movies and put my full body into it but thats a lot harder to do with the set directions and speed of the notes imo

I've been active physically and a pc gamer most of my life and also an older person. When I take those reaction time tests, I test very young. So, I think there is something to the "use it or lose it philosophy" for the many aspects of living. It's good though, to know the research supports the ability to regain reaction time. (along with other physical and mental stuff.) One more tidbit in my arsenal for motivating certain friends to move more. edit - oh, and added this one to my wishlist. I have a lot vr fitness apps now, but this looks decent and affordable!

I think that beat saber has a lot more movement if you are playing tech maps like "accelerate" or "final phase". And for visuals and costom maps i would also say beat saber too if you include modded songs like songs by acloudysky.

You're so wrong bro the cardio is unlike anything else . Sure technique isn't perfect due to tracking limitations but if you can't adapt you shouldn't be boxing . You literally have one of those flat board punching things with the light ups (idk what that garbage is called) so nothing you say i can take seriously , do you have any fights ? Bruh why are you speaking on boxing you have shit technique in general .

My biggest question with any of these games that I've yet to see reviewers cover is does it give you S,A,B,C style ranks for stages and are those ranks visible from the selection menu? It's probably rooted in the old DDR days, but nothing motivates me to keep coming back to a fitness/rythm game more than seeing a wall of stages lit up with S Rank icons shining back at me, and any lower ranked stages are beckoning me to get in there to challenge it again. Unfortunately the vast majority of VR games just give you a numerical score that doesn't hold much mental weight, and even that score is often only shown at the end of the stage or it's hidden in an info tab somewhere and isn't prominently viewable. The closest I've seen in VR is RagnaRock! which uses a Silver, Bronze, Gold medal system to display how well you've done on each stage and that's just as good as the S, A, B, C style, but I want more games to impliment this.

@@FitProVR That's good to know! I'll definitely check Blacktop Hoops out! I had the same issue w/ gym class...the shooting was nothing like real hoops and was way too hard to get it to work. It just wasn't fun at all. I used to play NBA Street Jam on PS2 as a kid and really liked it, so Blacktop Hoops sounds like one I might like!

I rotate between Beat Saber, Synth Riders and Oh Shape. I like when I come back to a game it feels new again. I know Oh Shape isn't as popular but I love it and its more workout than BS and SR. Like I will be sweating and my floor mat is twisted.

Noice. 2 years later, they sell for $25 😎 The biggest tangible benefit of one of these is that adding weight, plus* shifting the center of mass actually makes it easier to stabilize your aim - amd avoid overshooting (not the pew pew kind of overshooting, the movement kind). And that's badass! Ps. I'm gonna put grip tape (e.g. tennis racket tape) on the grips to make up for the platic feel not plastic.
