Firstly, can I ask what coilovers you are going to buy? I didn't replace the bushes to be honest mate, I just straight swapped it. I have now bought big looped H&R anti roll bars made for lowered Golfs. This is a better option to be honest mate. TT ARB works but it's a bit of a bodge in my eyes to be honest its not the best but you will get by.

I would say you need to do a thorough Google search to find them. It's been a long time now since I sourced them and I think they came from VW Hertitage. I'm pretty sure the part numbers are in the description.

Hey man, it would literally serve no purpose to have both installed as one would cancel the other out. If you read any article on the 1.8t engine it's quite commonly said that they don't run well with blow off valves that vent to atmosphere due to MAF calculation etc. Even a blow off valve by itself is not recommended, better off just leaving the diverter in situ and running it with your new intercooler. I hope that helps you in some way.

I literally just pulled it down if I remember correctly. I don't think I separated the ball joint from the hub. Have you watched some of the other videos out there? They may have done it differently.

@@SPOOLINUP so the new top mount Isn't screwed down on top of the new strut/coilover, where you put the bolts on the top, it's not fixing the top mount down. As it is on the original

I have only changed the bottom seals there, the one that goes around all windows is very expensive so I am waiting until it is essential

I wouldn't pass it because of my exhaust anyway, so I'm not sure after the engine bay deletes. I've never tried.

Thank you man, I appreciate your comment. Just make sure you do not block off the EVAP in the engine bay like I did and you should be all good. Just take your time and use it to learn a few things. I know there is a lot of garbage in a stock engine bay but it's all emission control. Thank god we can delete it!!!

I think these valves are made by Eaton. Is it the exact same N75 for those engines too? I would suggest using the part number in a search engine. Also did you check your coil packs? I also had a coil issue at the time.

To be honest it's a little bit of a daunting job but it looks a lot harder than it is. It is also really worth it so good luck and I hope you get it done easily 🙏🏾

Hahaha mate, I hope it does the trick for you. I also had to change a blown coil about a week later as the problem seemed to come back. Not sure the replacement N75 fixed my issue as it was intermittent anyway. Tough one but I've got my fingers crossed for you

@@SPOOLINUP cheers bro I think its defo made an improvement but still not completely happy.... yet UPDATE yeah its defo quicker and better but when I stick my foot down down it ain't letting off as I think it should. My biggest issue I got at the minute is juddering when I first put it into gear. Judders bad af in reverse mainly. So carnt really get a smooth ride and I'm not sure why now. Gonna vac test it and new air filter is next. Praying to the good Lord my turbo ain't 💀 If your ever stuck for a vid could you do one on the shift linkage. I also think it's overheating but the needle staying in the middle 😬 I ordered new engine mounts, water pump + timing belt, radiator, v belt. Timing belt+ water pump is scary to me 2bh and mechanics by me don't want to touch it cuz it's my own parts. On the shift linkage yeah the spin clip end near slave cylinder please bro.

Do you have any diagnostic equipment? I got a small code reader and it's nothing special but sometimes things like that help a lot. I know some mechanics are funny about using customer bought parts and it's because they make a little on the side buy purchasing it at trade price and charging you retail. I'm not 100% sure without measuring but if they were correct before and are incorrect now I would suggest swapping them back over. That should save your problem. I'm glad you got it all done and I hope you are happy with the outcome. Thanks for the support.

The 312mm brakes fit underneath the standard 16" Gti BBS Montreal wheels.

I had the standard wheels on mine for ages with the 312mm and 256mm setup. I have never experienced any problems. What wheels are they? I know the rear calipers were close to my 3SDM wheels but they are off another car so not measure for the Golf.

@@SPOOLINUP using the 288mm in the front breaks no problem but I was told I couldn't run the 312 with my stock 16in TDI wheels. I think the wheels that come on yours are either thinner or shaped in a way that allows the caliper not to touch That's my understanding anyways

@BRWfilms That makes sense to me, there must be a reason, probably down to other dimensions other than diameter. Did you manage to get 312mm brakes on with other wheels or have you not bothered yet?

Yo! The installation of the Ram Air enhances the sound of the diverter valve. The kit only includes the air filter and heat shield but it gives a load of cool noise.

I have a 3" decat and downpipe going into a 2.5" stainless exhaust system. It was fully customised by the previous owner and sold to me. So it a full system from turbo back.

It seems like there can be a number of issues causing the water in the car. It's a bit of trial and error. If you check through the comments, some people have other suggestions. Have you had any luck so far?

@@SPOOLINUP I got the anniversary edition so most of the pipe are original. Changed pcv system but after a week it felt like the power dropped. Bought a new Recirc valve and think I made things worse. Just ordered boost leak tester and a N75 gonna try sort it this weekend. Honestly without you and MK4 heaven I would of crumbled

Double check your work, make sure that everything is plumbed in the right way. You would be surprised how easily you can make a mistake and not notice. I'm glad the videos have helped you and I hope they continue to. There is a lot of great information in old posts on the forums. If you need any diagrams or help you can always Google it and you will find great knowledge online.

Apologies for the late reply. The light is still waterless and has no issues. Did you repair yours?

@@SPOOLINUP Got it done yesterday. Managed to pry the cover off, dry it out over night and then clean the inside. Used epoxy to glue cover back on and then sealed the edges with sealant. Polished the outside and applied new gasket. Only time will tell but looks good as new! Helpful video 👍🏼

Sounds like a cracking job mate, probably did a much more through one than me by the sounds of it. I wish I took the whole lens off. Let me know how it goes brother 👊🏾

Hi mate, after doing both fixes I have not had any water in the car at all, so I can confirm that both work. Someone pointed out that you should also seal where the speakers sit on that same inner door panel. Have you also cleared out the drain holes at the bottom of the door? They are know to get clogged with grime as well so you could inspect them if you haven't already.
